anyone know how they feel? I was interested in them but when you wear them do you really feel any difference (really soft etc)? also im assuming they wont stretch since silk and cashmere dont really stretch.

thanks for the input. was thinking about buying a pair

didn't see this, they're much more comfy than other raw denim and yeah, softer. next winter i'm gunna get some thicker denim though because the silk ones don't keep me warm on cold vancouver days

There might be some of N&F's special edition 24oz jeans (Weird Guys, I think) left. Now that's thick right there.

Apparently they're hell to break in though.

alright so im about to buy some grey weirdguys, and i just want to make this all cleared up prior to ordering. while reading this thread for a while, i've read that a tagged size of 32 would actually be a 34 sized waist, is this 2 inch difference correct? I measured my waist with some measuring tape and it's 31, and i've also read of how NF jeans stretch 1-1.5 sizes. So would 29 logically be the right tagged size for me with how the tags are different than actual sizes and they stretch a bit, or am i misinterpreting how the sizing works? with drew's fit he said he sized down 2, with the pic from clutch he said he sized down 1, and it was a good fit but i think it'd stretch out too much if i just went down to 30.

last question - if i use a coupon code for tobi when i order, will they still let me return them or exchange them if they don't fit right?

first wear is a nightmare, 2-3 more wears they'll be bearable, but when they're finally broken in.. just WOW. they feel soo goood cool and they fade ridiculously fast. first wear, my pocket seams turned electric blue

Yeah, get them at tagged sized 29.

However I'm not sure if they'll let you return it. I think they will though.

alright i got another pretty naive question but since i haven't bought any grey selvedge jeans before, you don't soak/pre-soak these right? i figure these aren't really treated like indigo jeans where you soak to get rid of excess the indigo dye

I've never had a pair of N&F jeans before so I was wondering if you guys could help me out:
I usually wear a size 32 in other slim/straight jeans, what would be the best pair of N&F to buy?
Thanks in advance

tagged sizes of NF jeans are 2 sizes lesser than the true size, so you might want to try a tagged size of 30. if you have a tape measure then you can find your true waist, and if it's 32 then go for a tagged 30 or 31. 30 might be better because people say the jeans stretch a size or 1.5 sizes over time.

I didn't with mine, I don't think it makes much of a difference.
The bathwater after I soaked wasn't very grey, so either way, you won't lose much of the grey dye. It probably will make a difference in the stiffness and starch though.

Yes tobi does allow a return and exchange when you use a coupon. I did it myself.
