Got my Deep Indigo Weird Guys today.




I probably could have sized down one but these are comfortable now. Some weird folding going on beneath the rear pockets, which makes it bulge out at the thigh. Hopefully that will go away as I break them in...

5'9", 165 lbs, 32" true waist, 30" inseam. Most of that weight is in the upper body. My lower body is between a slim and medium build (I think last time I measured my thighs were 21-22"). I am wearing a tagged 31. I was a little wary when I bought them, not having tried them on, since I haven't seen fit pics of these for someone with my height/build. The waist/top block is a little loose, and with the low rise I often find myself having to pull them up a little to keep from exposing crack. I guess there are "carrot" jeans with a larger top block for guys with fuller thighs. Fit through the leg is good though and I like how they fit around my calves.

so you bought a 32 and you are a 32? thanks for all the info. these are looking better and better compared to the APC's for the price, they would be fun to fade because of the lack of photos online, but I'm sure that will all change in another 6 months.

I guess I forgot the most important part. I bought a tagged 31, which measures 32". Sorry about the confusion. Here are the measurements for the Weird Guys from Mauro @ Farinelli's

Size 28 : Waist 14.75, Front 9.75, Back 13, Thigh 11.25, Knee 7.5, Hem 6.75, Inseam 34.5
Size 29 : Waist 15, Front 10, Back 13.25, Thigh 11.25, Knee 7.75, Hem 7, Inseam 35.75

apcs are 12oz and the deep indigo weird guys are 15 oz.. win. i love mine

Well it's not really short, but then again its not really long.
I think, in the denim world, a 34" inseam is probably average, so this is actually a little longer than average. Then again, if you are used to some of the more expensive denim, like Sammys, 34" can seem short because they usually have inseams closer to 36-7".

There sanforized so they dont shrink much. I soaked because I wanted to lose some indigo.


yeah thats why i didnt soak em. but i really need to lose some of this dye, so i think ill give them a soak tomorrow

I was saying the inseam was short in this. Didn't realize he was talking about his actual inseam, thought it was the jeans.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP i was thinking bout getting the skinnyguy stretch jeans in black any clue how they fit compared to levis 511 i wear a 32 32 in those. THANKS FOR THE HELP IN ADVANCE

the 511's are more tapered compared to the skinny guys, so i suggest gettin the weirdguys in size 30.

I'm a true 32 and I sized down to a tagged 31. See fit pics here. The waist has stretched to ~33.5" and the hip flaring hasn't died down. I'm starting to wish that I sized down two for a more fitted top block.

According to the measurements on Blue In Green these are vanity sized by two sizes. I'm not sure if they make a 28 as the smallest size listed at BiG is 29 which has a 31" waist...


2 months, no wash, worn almost everyday


Those are holding their indigo pretty well for that kind of wear. Did you soak before wearing?

i went down two, i just got the smallest i could fit into basically so they'll sit low after they stretch out

i just got a pair of slimguys yesterday.smile i was planning on getting weirdguys, but when I tried it on, it felt a bit too tight. and i like the fit of slim guys =) I think my waist is a true 30, and i also got size 30 O.o it was kinda tight anyway. we'll see if it stretches out or w.e. I havn't worn them yet, should I soak them first? or just wear....

Why is this thread mostly guys? Naked & Famous has girls jeans as well. I've been looking to try on a pair of SlimGirl Silk, but no one has it anywhere in Toronto that I've been able to find. I've found SlimGirl in indigo online, and in white, but the silk is hard to find and I have had very limited success! sad
