Just throwing this out there to see if anyone with the same problem can offer some advice.. Happens with all dyed and unwashed denim, but hasn't really been addressed here.Try taping the cuffs. You can also spray water repellent on your denim and the area where your denim meets your shoe. They both worked for me.
Some of the indigo dye on my N&Fs rubs off onto the shoe tongue. Not a problem on darker shoes, but on the white tongue it can be sort of a hassle. Warm water and soap has been my go-to, and prevents the problem depending on what surface your stain is on.
Edit: After searching around a bit more it seems that this problem is basically unavoidable. Gonna go with the "tape your cuffs" trick and see how that works.

I've had a lot of luck cleaning my white canvas Purcells and Vans by doing an overnight OxyClean soak.

anybody here who owns a pair of Deep Indigos and Japan Heritage and thinks, just like me, that the JH fade a lot easier/faster than the DI?I think it's just the deep indigos. I have been thinking exactly the same about my hemp blends :D.. They have faded more in less than 4 months than deep indigos did in almost a year of wear.
The JH already show some slight fades after like 30 days of slight wear. In comparison the Deep Indigos needed like 2-3 months to look like this..

Thanks, that's actually what I was just thinking.. I'll give it a try. And it's happened to the white tongue on my all black Supreme x AF1s, and my Nike SB WPFs. The WPFs have a suede tongue, so I've had luck simply brushing it off. Removes most of the indigo, but still not all of it. Taping cuffs doesn't help because it's the outside of the jean that is making contact w the tongue. Gonna try a soak on the bottom 2-3 inches of the jeans, I'll let you know how it works.Just throwing this out there to see if anyone with the same problem can offer some advice.. So the heavier the denim the faster they fade? Or is it the lighter denim that fades faster? The lighter fades denim faster.
I checked page 1, but there really isn't any info on where to cop some naked&famous denim besides small boutiques. Any sites or stores where they give good deals? thanks.blueowl and karmaloop
