Im about six months into a pair of Weird Guys, when will be the perfect time to give that first soak?


stop thinking about it and just keep wearing and youll realize youre fine without the water. you might still want them to touch water to help treat the threads and fibres but dont constrict yourself to a set time.

i wore a pair of uniqlos for 3 years without wash, just random rain soaks and other unintentional weather (snow). the cold air airs them out quite nicely and they dont smell at all

Who has the nerve to wear white after Labor Day, Who will dare wear white jeans anyway, Who can stand it for at least 4 months. This jerk can and will do it. Sup Hypebeast, gf took some pics of my jawns finally.

I thought this might be helpful to many of you who keep asking how to size on WG. I'm typically a size 32 in most other brands, my Tellason's are 32, my Levi's are 32, my Orisue's are 32. I'm about 6'1", with a long torso so probably have the legs of a 5'11" guy, but my calves are relatively large/muscular. Most people with regular calves will want to size down at least 1 from regular tag size, probably 2. Don't worry if they're tight at first, most of the fabrics will stretch comfortably over around a 1-2 week period.

First up, my Grey Selvedges, size 32, had these for 1 1/2 years now, two washes. They stretched horribly in the crotch area after about 2 weeks of wear, but after a hot soak they've gotten much better. They have faded from an incredibly sheen, shiny grey to a subtle grey with like, streaks/hints of white and shit.

Sorry, the Grey Selvedges are 32 Waist. They did stretch a ton after the first 1-2 months, and they were almost unwearable.

Here are my Elephant 2's, size 33 waist. They have not stretched, but one wash. Approx. 6 months of wear. The denim smells strongly of stinky dye after a soak, so keep that in mind as it may be better not to soak or wash these. These are pretty dark at first, like a very dark blue, and they are starting to show noticeable contrast in combs, etc. People tend to have trouble buttoning these up at first because of the heavy denim.

Also, the patch really started to wear on the Elephant 2's after the first soak.

Current project, Natural Indigo Organic Selvedge, size 32. These are really light and are definitely going to be my Fall jeans, along with my Tellasons. I'm about 2 months in, very minor fading starting, minimal stretching, no soak/wash, and no plans to do so within the next 10 months.

Please note that most people will probably want to size down for tighter fits. Like I said, I have relatively muscular/large calves, and I like room in the top block...

Here are some size 31 Indigo Weird Guy Highs. Got them from Tate and Yoko, and chain-stitched hem to 30". I would only recommend these to people who seriously, SERIOUSLY need a super high rise..





I also previously had a pair of the Duck Selvedge's in a 31, the color is reminiscent of Carhartt work pants, and the duck is pretty strong. Got rid of them a few days ago, probably going to look into the Chinos in Beige or Sand as a replacement for work pants.
