Azaleasf has a few jeans on sale for good prices. Wondering if i should try and squeeze into a 28 skg greencast. That size for E2 was too tight in the hips...Anyone with the greencast, how much have you gotten the upper block to stretch?

No soak for me. Once I got them on they really weren't too bad. I don't think a soak will be necessary.

I bought some stussy deluxe denim and have decided to get rid of them as i've lost weight and the 36 is too baggy, i think a 34 would be a snug fit in this stussy cut, would a 34 N&F be right?

thanks in advance

Ok question, I've asked it before but never got the answer I was looking for. Please pardon my lack of denim jargon, I'm going to say this in simple english.

I got WG's tts and the waist and thigh area were fine but the legs were too baggy. (The day I got them the waist was very tight) I got them shortened and tapered so they gave a skinnier look. These are my before and after photos.

Before:

After:

What should I go for the get the "after" look straight away? Sized down WG's? or SG's?

^How much did you hem and taper them? But most likely WG down 2.

fit looks good but goodluck with your burst seams and ripped button goals of 2012. no idea why you tried to button them all on the first day for elephant 2s. the buttons and fabric need to stretch, now youre just forcing tension on them. i wore mine inside for a weak and stretching the holes and only buttoned the top 2 buttons and it was fine. then 2 months later i was curious and the 3rd button actually fit.

there have been several stories about burst button seams

It wasn't difficult because of how tight they were, it was just because the denim is so stiff and the buttons didn't want to go in the holes. They should be fine, they're already perfectly easy to button/unbutton.

nf don't really stretch a ton unless you sag them, and it's only in the waist

Actually, it really depends on the fabric.

TTS Skinny guys if you looking for a true skinny look and you can get them hemmed. SG's inseams vary from 35-39 depending.

as far as sizing down on WGs. It depends where you size down from. You true waist size or you normal jean size.
If you sizing down two from normal jean size then NO, they will be too tight. If you sizing down two from your waist then your jeans were prolly too big in the first place.

Example: I'm a true waist 35.25. I buy size 33 WGs and 34 Skinny guys. These two will fit my waist perfectly. after a bit of stretch. NF is vanity sized btw.

Those DI are looking pretty good. I wish I didn't soak mine so soon. I also wish I was more active. Here's some shitty pics I just took.

Here's my E2 SkG size 30. True 29

How do you guys think the back looks? Most of the time it sorta looks like this. I kinda hate it and wish i would've gotten a 29.

BT SG 29. Was able to button all the way up easily. Plan on hemming, cuffed about 3 times in the pictures. Need to figure out how to manage stacks.

Does heavyweight denim get soft and pliable over time like the "regular" kind does? My E2's are the first heavy pair I've had, and I don't mind the rigidity at all, I'm just curious how they'll end up.

Edit: Also, the way my stacks settled, it looks like I have two different length pant legs. How can I fix this?
