pin0y are you are an idiot???????????????? 2 sizes up from any nf denim will result in a bigger waist size than ur true waist. unless the pants you buy are tagged two sizes up from the actual waist size of the pants, then "sizing up 2" will result it a pant too big in the waist.

my guess is that you had to size up to compensate for bigger thighs/legs

Playing devils advocate here, two of my rail thin skinnny ass friends both sized up on the skinnies. Fit looks much better than TTS.

They didnt do that on their own though, as mentioned above, Jay from Blue Owl had them measure their favorite fitting pair of jeans and based the recommendation off of that.

Some people are looking for a skinny fit that isn't pasted on, and for those folks sizing up on the skinnies could be the best option. Excessive question marks aside, I have to agree with pin0y.

i dont even have large thighs to begin with.. and lol i just trolled ur ass mistahfuckface ahahhaha if you check the measurements, size 31 NS APC are the same sizing as 34 skinny guys... and i wanted the same fit and thats what i got. i tried on 33s and i looked like i was about to jerk. and i wouldnt walk out of denimbar with jeans falling off my ass.. these are still tight and fit a lot better than 33 or 32 if i went tts u faggot

yup. if i went with size 32 WG the leg opening was 7.5 with baggy ass thighs and knees... my 34 skinnies have leg opening of 8 with a slimmer thigh which is perfect...

hi guys i just bought my first pair of n&f raw denim... i was wondering should i soak it in water so that the jeans wont shrink that much when i start tearing them up... some said it shud be soak in vinegar overnight :S sry if i ask silly question but this is my first pair of raw denim...

you're getting it wrong: they'll stretch under stress.

some people soak their jeans to "break" the indigo, hoping to get faster fades.
imho, I wouldn't do an initial soak, just wear them and don't care about them too much.

if you can button them up WITH struggle they are the perfect size. Jay said that if the thigh crotch area is really tight you should just run up and down the stairs, do squats ect... also it takes like 3-4 weeks for them to really stretch.

I don't know the exact amount, but a lot. My legs had rashes at the beginning from being so restricting. Now I can wear them comfortably. But then again, I don't know how big you are and how small your jeans are in comparison.

I prefer hand washing/soaking them hence I can control the amount of water/soap that runs through em.
Also the indigo is richer after a soak than a machine wash.
how long have you been rocking your raws?

DAMN. I've had some Natural Indigo Selvedge Slim Guys for only about 2 months, and some fuck spilt a combination of butter and oil on them. theres only 3 spots, but they are noticeable, and i don't want to wash them...WHAT DO I DO?

I'm going to pick a nice NF pair and I hope you will help. smile

Firstly according the fit. Generally I wear something a bit baggy (low rise, on my hips) and definitely not skinny and not too tight. So what should I pick? Slim guy or weird guy? I saw a couple of picks and weird guy looks a bit too tight on them. Is it true and the better choice for me will be a slim guy?

Secondly according the denim itself. I like "soft" denim mostly that is not too thick. Also this time I want to buy denim that will show minimal amount of fades/washes/dents etc. with age (this sounds a bit strange I know smile ) and will save it's own color. What type/color will be the best for me?

slim guys would be your best bet or maybe WG one size up. You could basically get any model and probably do frequent washes to keep from having contrast in the fades. You would want to at least do wash when you first get them if you don't want any combs or major wiskers.

If you browse through blueOwls site they list the the weight of each model. Pretty much every model is kinda thin. And all raw denim will soften up with wear and washes.
