The crotch looks a bit odd. ( really thined out and the seams just did not hold.)




Oh WTF is that? (The entire seam just ripped at the edge all the way around from fly to back.

Almost seems like the material wasn't strong enough after being pererated and stiched. U can see how it just pulled away at the stiching. :/

First post, but what is the official leg opening of the WeirdGuy 30? I've seen 7.2 at BlueOwl, 7.25 from another site, and up to 7.5 from personal listings.

People have said that the Broken Twills fades really easy. I've been wearing mine for about 4ish months and I have fading around the crotch area, thighs, back pockets, combs slightly and the cuffs.

I'm curious to know about the Elephant 2's. I may want to get those next.

Heh, so I blindly took the advice I had read on a few forums and went ahead and sized down 2 from a 32 to a 30. The measurements seemed accurate, if a little smaller than expected, but I was counting on some stretch. Needless to say, I'm a little bigger than I thought I was, and found that I couldn't squeeze myself into these things, and will probably just go TTS based on just how tight (unbottonable, even the bottom one) they are.

Anyways, I now have a size 30 wg indigo on ebay sitting at $50 / buyout $85, shipping not included. Condition is nearly new, with only miniscule fading on the left rear pocket. Pictures are pretty good quality, so check it out if interested.

Rocko, get those indigo/indigo!!! They're nice, even tho I haven't seen them in person. Also if you can fit into a 29 WG, my deep indigo's have about 6.8 hem and were hemmed to about 31.5. Actual measurements can be found on BlueOwl's site since it's accurate to what I have. The waist can fit a true 32 since that's what my hip area measures that and can sit there perfectly...not tight or too loose where it'll fall down.

Pizza- Do you sag or were they tight in that area? That's crazy that they blew out like that.

Elephants seem like they'll fade fast. I'v only worn mine indoors sitting in bed for like a month and I can see some fades starting at combs and stacks. You really have to look close but I can see it poking through.

Just went into Barneys and had a little try-on session. In the regular Indigo I found the 33 to be the most comfortable (size 1up), but found that there was a slight bulge in the fabric right above the knee (due to the extreme taper I believe).

I have 24 inch thighs, not huge but the fit is a little tight. On blueowl they have the left hand twill fabric weirguys being ever so slightly larger in the thigh than other fits. Does this hold to be true?

If I had to describe the fit I'm going for I'd look to by urban slim chinos from j. crew. They taper, and the leg opening is around 7.5, if just a little bit larger. This is why I looked to weirguys, as they were advertised to be forgiving in the upper block with a taper down to 7.5/7.75 in.

The thigh bunching was a little disconcerting, but wasn't extreme. I think it may be the nature of the stiff denim. Anyways, sorry for the long-winded post, I think I'll now be looking for 33's for a slim fit that won't incapacitate me.

Edit: also, do the Weirguy Highs ever go on sale, or would that just be a pipedream? It'd be ideal to have a slightly higher rise, but not a deal breaker.

Well i would cuff it to your ideal length and figure out the fit. Hemming will just make it fit either better or for the worst.

I heard if you hem around 2-4 inches it should be alright, but over 5 inches it will start to ruin the fit

And how does .5 inch more on the thigh and .75 inch more on the leg opening affect the jeans? I really want these camos to fit nice

U need to read a few pages before posting. U need to know a true waist size. Then what type of denim u want. Different fabrics stretch more than others.

They're going to fade a lot slower than most NF. I've been wearing mine for like 3 weeks and can tell they're going to be a bitch to fade. A couple pages back someone said they're working on 4 months in a pair and are just starting to show the wallet fade. Go get some Elephants, Deep Indigos, LHTs, or the Broken Twills if you want something truer to the brand.

Edit:

If they're the only pair you're wearing, you might have more success. I put mine in a heavy rotation after the first month or so. More variety equals less progress.
