I really think I need to size up to 29. I don't think these will stretch enough in the waist/thighs for me. Still debating on what to do but probably going to sell my two pairs. Is anyone interested in 28 Elephant 2 Skinny Guys or 28 Japan Heritage Skinny Guys? Brand new, just worn to try on.






Also, noob questions: Should I go weird guys instead of skinny if the weird guys simply give more room up top? And do you guys get your jeans to go over your shoes? Or do you always let them sit on top, even when cuffed?

Well, WG's have an 11" thigh so if that's what you need then go for it. You can find certain models in size 27 like the regular indigo's. Like I've said before I'm not sure on stretching but others say they should. I would probably at least exchange the elephants to 29's.

stay true to size or size down 1 depending on what type fit you want.
since you're on the thin side maybe sizing down one would be better

don't know how 510's fit, but for 511's SkG is tighter by a little in the thighs and looser in the ankles. I got both in 30. 511 has like a 6in hem and my SkG Elephant 2's have a 7in hem. The 28 SkG had a closer fit to 511 but was way to tight up top

If you are too lazy to measure the hems, dont even bother guessing the numbers. It will only mislead people. Both my 511 and WG have the exact same leg opening at 7.5" ish... Size 31 Levis and 29 WG

I doubt my foot would even fit through a 6" opening

wasn't too lazy..I remembered the 511's being closer to 6, just measured and they almost 6.5. WG deep indigo 29 are 6 7/8. 30 SkG E2 are 7.

How would what I have said mislead people? This is a N&F thread not a Levi's thread. I don't need to be specific on Levi's since he either has them or has tried them. So nothing I said was or can be misleading. He wanted to know how I assume would be skinny guy cut compare to Levi's 510 in the thigh and ankle. So I was off by almost .5 on the Levi's...the Skg Is still bigger therefor giving you more room in the ankle. And I was only giving him a reference as I can't compare to the cut he was specifically asking about.

Your stacks are fine. They're not excessive now, and they'll only continue to settle as you wear them.

You should be fine with a size 36 for the camo selvedge. 510's are a little slimmer than the skinny guy
