Yea, crotch is a little flimsy on NF. However, a nice patch will do you just fine. Both sides of my crotch are ripping through, but it actually looks good, surprisingly.

Same thing happened to me with my nudies, went out one night thinking my crotch was weak came home with a small blowout.

maybe its just my pair but stretch skinny guys might be prone to blow outs, i got them on both sides of the crotch seam on my grey wefts, shitsux. im gonna try getting a reinforcing patch put on the inside of the crotch

You can soak your crotch occasionally to help avoid a crotch blowout if you're not biking in them every day. When the fibers dry, they tighten and contract--reviving some durability to high use areas. Or reinforce when you know you're getting close. Either way, a crotch hole only becomes fugly when it causes a taint-to-ass-cheek rip and your boys are hanging out.

I got my weird guys at Heritage in Roseville by the galleria. Its like 2 hours from oakland but its the closest place I know that has em.

i have a pair of black tapereds and weird guy indigos. Unbranded's denim seems to be a hell of a lot more stiff than WG indigo's. And unbranded has hidden rivets while most NF denim doesnt. Construction wise, NF seems to be better though, Unbranded's have a lot of loose threads and theyre known for buttons popping off. Oh and WG's compaired to Black tapereds, it seems the wg's have more of a taper at the bottom as well as a slightly longer inseam. hope this helps

PIcked up my first pair of weird guys..got em new from a person online. I sized down 1 from a my normal size which is 30. I've got a bout an inch gap around my waist and was wondering if you guys think for my next pair I should go to a 28?

I've fairly skinny 5'6 125 lbs so I'm hoping they wont stretch too much. I'd post a pic but can't since I'm new : (

Yeah i'm in the exact same boat.

my weird guys fit really well. The waist is sort of loose but that's just cause I sag them sometimes. I think a 27 would be overkill anyway.

I think my next pair will be skinny guy though.

My first denim purchase was a pair of weird guys sz 29. hey seemed a little loose and following someone elses suggestion, I purchased a pair of size 29 skinny guys. cashmere stretch.


Not sure if I like them or not. Much tighter than expected. Here are two pics I took. long inseam, had to cuff.

what ive never eralized is that people always say to size down but they never consider the fact that if you dont size down as much it obviously wont stretch as much, jeans stretch where theyre stressed so why go through all the pain, apcs are a different story but 1 down for those is good too
