Which cut are you referring to? The Elephant denim comes in all 3 cuts that N&F makes.

The only cut that I own that denim in is the Slim Guys. I would recommend sizing down 2 from your actual waist measurement on those.


sorry my bad for the skinny guys. since they're 19oz i figured they wouldnt stretch much at all.

Denim of all weight still stretches. I haven't gotten around to wearing mine yet, but I've read that the Elephant denim stretches about as much as any other N&F denim.

i was thinkin bout gettin sum skinny guys broken twill selvedge i wear a 32 in levis 511 nd those fit my waist alil loose should i get a 31 in these if they are gonna stretch thanks

hmm i see. i have unbranded skinnys that only stretched half an inch so i wouldve thought heavier denim would be similar.

The amount of stretch possible depends mostly on how tightly the denim is woven, not so much its weight. Denim also tends to stretch only as much as it needs to. I'm not extremely familiar with the denim on the Unbrandeds, but maybe it is woven tightly?

I think the color of the weft determines the color of your fades

I think the color of the weft determines the color of your fades


The color of the weft determines the tint of your fades, but the main color of your fades is still going to be the core color of the warp threads, which in the case of the Citrus Weft jeans, is white. At least that's how it works until your warp threads actually start breaking.

I'm currently 6 months into my Rogue Territory Slim/Straights. I'd like to find a pair of jeans that are a little looser fitting in the legs (they don't go over the backs of the majority of my shoes), and possibly a little higher rise as I have to sag them a little lower than I would like.

One thing I'm kind of confused about still..

Are these totally black because in some pics it looks like they have specs of yellow/orange that litter the outside of the jean? Almost like the donegal denim but with those two colors.

I don't mind if my fades are orange but I really don't want specked black jeans.

I would say weird guys are the ones your looking for, roomy in the thigh and decently high rise. Skinny guys are pretty tight in the leg so not quite what your looking for.

Do the Broken Twill Selvedge in the Skinny Guy fit smaller for any of you? I tried on a 32 today and I wasn't able to button it but I wear a 32 in my Slub Stretch Skinny Guys and was able to fit into it just fine.

i know these question have been asked before, but where can you get the BiG 21oz wg's ive searched high and low for em. could any shops possibly have em? i cant find them anywhere online. its a shame nakedandfamous never re-released these or something. also anywhere i could find the green wg's?

Naked and Famous have another 21oz denim indigo called superheavyweight.

i dont think its a special release or anything.

saw these at Dutil in Vancouver, with plenty of stock.

if i remember it was around $200.

they are the same color as the 24oz (which is also available), so i believe it is regular indigo.


the stiffness of them would promote better fading due to the weight, as i have found with my 24oz jeans.

I got the chambray skinny guys sz 30 tts today.

At first I was thinking the waist was too big because I didn't have to strain too much to button them up. But after I got a good look at the fit I realized it didn't really matter. Even though I wear a 28 in weird guys I feel like sizing up 2 was a smart move.

They look awesome by the way. Perfect summer jeans.
