On Gilt was brown canvas for 39, and green selvege for 29. I have the green selvege in the cart, thought about it and decided bright green jeans are not for me. They only had a few sizes of each as well.

I've never owned a pair of N&Fs but am looking to get some slim guys. I tried some on in a 31(tts is 32) and was able to zip the zipper probably 75% up and not button. Should I go for the 31 or maybe a 30? I don't want a skinny jean look, more so a slim straight look.

Can anyone tell me how broken twill will fade compared to deep indigo?
Based on pics I've seen, I think deep indigo is the one I want but N&F only offers it in weird guy fit. Since I'm going for the slim guy fit, it seems like broken twill is my only option and they look alike to me. But I'm not sure if broken twill will show that cobalt blue fade like deep indigo ones.
Also, I'm wondering about the general fit of slim guy. I've tried 29 weird guy and I didn't like its narrow leg opening though it fit perfect in other areas (considering how it's supposed to be tight.)
Size 30 was a bit loose on the waist and thigh but its leg opening was bearable at least. Bearing that in mind, I think I should be safe in slim guy in size 29. Can anyone confirm this?
The broken twill from what I've seen is just a slightly darker version of the deep indigo. It fades about the same too.
And yeah get the 29 or even a 28 if you want a tight fit.
