For me, any jeans over say $50-60 is expensive.

looooool... >sad
N&F are expensive, the only way the're not expensive if you buy them with coupons or on PLNDR, but paying $150 + more for a pair of jeans is a lot of money, unless you got money to blow like that.

i got mine for like 90$ at retail :l

Damn maybe I should gtfo of here. Seems like most of you are more interested in flaming than discussion. My point was everyone has their own price point, but that doesn't stop me from making an "investment" in a nice pair of "expensive" jeans though.

Selling (if my sig still lists it, it's still available!): N&F Japan Heritage 32, N&F x Big John 31 and 32

In Houston for a week, stopped by the Barneys CO-OP today and everything is pretty much gone. There's just one or two racks with all the sizes of denim left. No N&F.

Checked out 310 Rosemont, they have a wall that's all 60% off. The only N&F I saw on sale were WG Grey Selvedge, which is a good deal at that price ($150 at 60% off, $60). Only sizes 30, and 33 and up I think. They also had another WG and Slim Guy but at reg price.

thanks for the tip on 310 Rosemont... i tried getting to the galleria yesterday and it was literally impossible to catch a parking space, but i'm glad i didn't waste my time actually walking around that madhouse.

Hi all,

I got a pair of Frankensteins on Boxing day for pretty cheap (80$) and I sized down... However, the problem is that I need to hem a lot of it, but as of now, I just folded the denim inwards (since it looks weird if I flip it out when it isn't selvedged).

My question is, should I get it hemmed asap? and how would you measure the shrinkage after washing so that I don't hem too much?

Thanks,

How would skinny guys fit around the thighs if I size up 2-3? I usually wear a size 30 with slim straight jeans, and they fit me well enough that I don't need a belt.

As a general rule of thumb, it is best to get jeans to the length that you want them at ASAP once you know what that length is. The reason why is because if you wear them differently, you may create fades or creases in the legs now that you might not want later once the jeans are the right length.

From my experience, N&F only shrinks about an inch at most in the inseam after repeated washing, so if you give yourself an extra inch when hemming, you should be pretty safe.

They'll fit less tight in the thighs, which is nice IMO, but the waist will be so loose that the jeans will be falling down if you don't wear a belt.
