I like Studio D'Artisan the best. Of all the jeans that I've had, I feel like I've gotten the best quality of construction most consistently from them.

I gotta say nudies and edwin, mainly cuz of the fit. I like wrangler X marc jacobs but the fit is alright but fading seems nice so far and great quality and weight

Sorry for the delayed response, I didn't see your post until just now. Here are fit pics of the SDA D1496, a pair that I am wearing in a heavyweight denim contest on another forum. These are 23 oz. LHT with a zip fly and some Lee-inspired details. The fit is based on one of Lee's early 1900s models, but I actually find it fairly similar to the SD-103.

I included some detail shots from Vintage Paradise on Rakuten as well.

the only reason why prps wear very well are because they come predistressed. for that price you pay it better fit you well if not PERFECT .

I would say DH is my most favorite denim. However, I admit that those japanese denim like Flathead, Samurai, and PBJ have such very nice fade.

MWAC is done for isn't it I remember seeing mauro say something about their demise. A couple of guys on SF still have unworn pairs for sale.

Also Eternal for me, the stuff on their 872 particularly.

I've personally owned a pair of Flat Heads, Nudies, Imperials, and Evisus, and I've found that Imperials are by far my favorite.

The high rise reduces that annoying diaper-ass significantly, plus the sign looks dope.

Recently copped a pair of SEXI14's, and I reccommend these to any denim fanatic!

been wearing sevs and R&R's.. but i think i might have to give to the N&F
Feb 02, 2011 @ 11:23
Samurai ranks up there, but I think I am going with Strike gold's. Denim is freaking awesome. The character, the way it creases, the feel, and everything else about it. Now I have yet to see my pair get any evo since it's only on it's 3rd wear...
