Yes, even though I sized down one I still manage to have some what of a hip flare but it doesn't bother me.

Do your research it should be pretty easy, look at what models you want, how the fading is in your opinion, the specs (denim weight, price, fit, etc.) and decide.

Yeah, I like the fit of your 811s tech. From the looks of it, sizing down 1 reduces the flare.

It all boils down to choosing between this and xx-005s. And a couple of checks for some shows I'll be playing for the next 2 weeks.

flare it seems eventually goes away for about all of the eternals in 811. i've gone through every page on sufu as well. each closer to worn pair after a long stretch of time has gone down. initially, only is the flare. it all depends if you willing to let it go or not, the flare.

They are both unsanforized. The raw is just the one wash before the industrial wash.

i usually wear a size 29... if i get these, i'm gonna go with a 28, since the BiG measurements say that's really a 29... i normally buy size 29 denim so that it stretches to either exactly or a little less than a 30, which is perfect

Word, post up fit pics when you can. My leg opening shrank about .5" with a hot soak, I don't think it will be going any smaller, but I am happy with where its at so its no problem.

High rise + stiff denim + fantastic vertical construction = quick and deep whiskers

Forgive me if some of these are already answered, I skimmed through the topic.
I'm planning on buying Eternal Jeans - 811BG Raw 39" Inseam.

So do I run true to size on these? Or one down? How do they compare to APCNS and APCNC?
If I get them do I hotsoak for 15 minutes and hangdry? coldsoak?
I love stacks, with that monstrous inseam will I be ODing on stacks?

True to size or up one. If you size up one, hot soak ~30 mins, then put them in the dryer. If you go true, just a solid ~30 mins hot soak. The inseam wears shorter than the 36 or whatever that it comes out to be because if the mid (as opposed to low) rise. I don't know how tall you are or how much length you want, so work that out. They shrink ~2.5" in length from the soak. For this jean, I would go +1, or maybe +2 from natural inseam if need be, but I, personally, think that anything more is hurting the silhouette.
