Damn..makes me eager to wash my pair. Did the original creases set back in nicely? & How's the patch after the wash?

Both the whiskers and the combs came back in immediately... Patch looks exactly how it did when it was brand new, completely in tact... Tech I'm telling you; washing these will be a decision you absolutely won't regret, That's how mine look after 3.5 months and 1 wash... After over 7 months, with the fading you already have, your pair will look HOF status already... Do you planning on just going 1 year in these? Or longer?

I plan to wash these at 8 months (next month) and continue to wear them for another 3-4 months until school starts again and I can start a new project.

Possibly but I'm not entirely sure because I don't know if I want another pair of Eternals. I rather expand the different types of denim I have, so we'll have to see..

28x39... These really haven't stretched at all... After 3.5 months they stretched to just about the perfect state, and then after the first wash they shrunk back down again... It's not like I'm gonna stop wearing these, especially 4 months in and they're finally starting to shed some nice indigo, but they look perfect everywhere and then my crotch looks so awkward

Damn, was hoping you would say like a 30. Pretty sure I am skinnier than you so I guess a 28 would be too big for me especially after a bit of stretching.

I'm 5'7 125 and a 28 is fine on me. If you wanna see a fit pic of my 811's just dig up a bit

In fact it'll take a bit for the jeans to stretch until I can fully button them up.

is the eternal 811 a vintage cut jean/repro jean(1947,1966)? or is it just a modern cut not based off of anything?

I was looking at Eternals on BiG's website & I was wondering.. for the RAW they are basically the same as the one-wash except they haven't been washed, correct?

Also, how much do you size down on the raws? & how much do you size down on the one-wash?

I am really debating between the one-wash & the raws.. the one wash's have the exact measurements I want but I really want the raws.. if I was the raws will they basically go down to the same measurements as the one-wash?

Thanks!

Yea basically Pure, I sized one down on O/W and if I had a chance to cop raws it'd be one down as well. Anyways they both great jeans. Pref. I'd rather cop the raws but I only had the choice to get the O/W for $110 shipped so what the hell

Just wanted to say that the census for this jean isn't to size down, its just a preference so if your looking to buy a pair look for the option of going true to size or even sizing up one.

The one-wash have gone through a factory wash which is much stronger than a typical household wash, but the raw's should be close enough post initial wash, initial soak isn't going to be enough it you really want to shrink these.

The inseam shrinks a lot, but having the length feels really good (imo), mine are sitting at about 36.5 - 37", after my first wash I wouldn't be surprised for them to shrink to 35

^ He's right. My first soak took these to about a 36.5" inseam. After my first wash I'd say they shrunk down to about a 35"-35.5" inseam. Sizing down 1 on raws is the same thing as sizing down 1 on O/W, because after the first wash in the raws, it will shrink to the same length as sized down 1 O/W's. If that doesn't make sense then say so and I'll re-explain. I'd go with the raws if I were you, but I must warn you, these are incredibly stiff and uncomfortable after that initial soak/wash.
