I'm surprised that yours is fading as slow as you say they are. My pair is starting to lose its "shine" on the thighs, and the ass is starting to fade a little bit and I'm not even 3 months in. I have a feeling by 6 months they'll be losing some serious indigo and will be in need of a wash.

Because I have gotten them so dirty the denim on the thighs has created a sort of sheen so I can't really see the fading that well, but I know it is there. With a wash, the dirt will cleanse off, revealing the indigo goodness. I still want to achieve more fading on my honeycombs and stacks, so thats another reason for me holding off.

Hey st3p how did you manage to get your eternals to fit like that?
Mine are at a 36 inseam, barely show any stacks and they flare a bit at the bottom...

I'm at almost 3 months and my stacks are just finally setting fully, but are still extremely starchy... I think it's just the nature/quality of Eternal denim but don't worry; urnotdoinitwrong

It has more to do with the construction and cut of the jeans as opposed to the denim. Taking cut in to consideration, the way they're generally worn in japan is hemmed down, which is why I think that the cut is not one that's built for a 36" inseam or stacking.

Do you get waist band fades instead of a butt fade?? isn't that kinda lame...

This is the thing that really deters me from wearing eternals. When I walk around I usually sag, but when I sit the Eternals constantly tend to rise up, and it gets really annoying. It's still tight in the waist so I still don't use a belt but damn.. The constant rising is a pain in the ass.

Same shit happens to me, except I don't sag so when I sit down my crotch rises and it looks like ihavea constant boner... Pretty annoying/embarrassing

3 months in on the 11th... I'm debating whether or not to soak or wash or hold out for either 4 or 6 months till the first wash... These aren't necessarily disgusting, but they do have three months of everyday wear to them... What are you guys thinking?

Nah i decided I'll hold out for at least another month, however I have a feeling I won't give the first wash til 6 months... I'm not a huge fan of doing soaks except for the initial... After the initial I feel like if you're going to soak your jeans, you might as well clean them

I hear though that after the first wash, a tremendous amount of indigo is lost

Really? I thought eternal was known to hold their indigo very well. We'll see after the first wash, can't wait. I need my stacks and honeycombs to fade more though smh not enough contrast.

^ in response to both questions, I heard that washing Eternal denim too soon and it will not lose much indigo. However, because Technique has been holding out so long on washing his, if he holds out for the 10 months like he says he is, then R read that a holdout causes great fading after the 1st wash
