Thinking of giving them a hem/taper cause they flare a bit at the bottom.
Any suggestions Tech?

No they're a 36, and they flare at the bottom that's why.

Naw I wouldn't taper/hem cause you'll lose your chain stitch unless you can find a tailor who has one which is rare. Tapering you might lose your selvedge and it'll look weird, unless you tell your tailor to keep the selvedge intact. From the photos it looks fine, maybe you just need to let your stacks settle/adjust.

its going to take a while for the stacks to settle; just a warning... mine are 2.5 months and i just noticed for the 1st time today that they're justtttt finally starting to settle... i know Tech said his took around 3 months, however Tech and I bought the raw version, so maybe the O/W will settle quicker

Also figured I'd post my fit pic as well since this thread has been so picture-happy lately... 2.5 months, not much going on but finally everything seems like it's starting to settle down:

Why don't you wash them? Or at least a soak perhaps?

Don't think I achieved the fading I quite want yet, they need a bit more work on them. Eternal denim fades very slow but the end result is so worth it, so I'm trying to hold out on the first wash, even though I know they hold their indigo well.

I'm surprised that yours is fading as slow as you say they are. My pair is starting to lose its "shine" on the thighs, and the ass is starting to fade a little bit and I'm not even 3 months in. I have a feeling by 6 months they'll be losing some serious indigo and will be in need of a wash.

Because I have gotten them so dirty the denim on the thighs has created a sort of sheen so I can't really see the fading that well, but I know it is there. With a wash, the dirt will cleanse off, revealing the indigo goodness. I still want to achieve more fading on my honeycombs and stacks, so thats another reason for me holding off.

Hey st3p how did you manage to get your eternals to fit like that?
Mine are at a 36 inseam, barely show any stacks and they flare a bit at the bottom...

I'm at almost 3 months and my stacks are just finally setting fully, but are still extremely starchy... I think it's just the nature/quality of Eternal denim but don't worry; urnotdoinitwrong

It has more to do with the construction and cut of the jeans as opposed to the denim. Taking cut in to consideration, the way they're generally worn in japan is hemmed down, which is why I think that the cut is not one that's built for a 36" inseam or stacking.

This is the thing that really deters me from wearing eternals. When I walk around I usually sag, but when I sit the Eternals constantly tend to rise up, and it gets really annoying. It's still tight in the waist so I still don't use a belt but damn.. The constant rising is a pain in the ass.

Same shit happens to me, except I don't sag so when I sit down my crotch rises and it looks like ihavea constant boner... Pretty annoying/embarrassing
