Jan 04, 2010 @ 19:48
after the first week its fine, all buttoned up, still no need for a belt. Not too happy with that croch area though.

And here's the backside just for you guys.

dope fit duuu &)
Jan 04, 2010 @ 20:40
How'd you size?
Jan 04, 2010 @ 20:42
One down
Jan 04, 2010 @ 21:09
so did i, thank god you said yours stretched out enough to button all the way, someone said something about sizing down 1 will fuck you over bc they don't stretch at all, but now i know they do blushing
Jan 11, 2010 @ 21:11
Absolutely in love with these, just need the stacks to settle down a bit... GOD DAMN these are stiff

Jan 11, 2010 @ 21:18
You need a hem of at least 2-3" dude. Stacking looks sloppy on the vintage straight leg-ish cut, you'd be much happier with the fit after a hem.
Jan 11, 2010 @ 21:20
yaa^ def.
they don't look to flattering with those chucks, they would look better if you did hem.
Jan 11, 2010 @ 21:22
ya looking at the picture i was thinking it, maybe i'll take em to BiG and get the inseam tapered to a 34.5? i like a lot of stacks haha

edit - the only thing is that these are day 1 like they are still incredibly stiff... i enjoy OD stacking, so i think that i'm gonna wear them for about a month, let everything settle, and then determine whether a hem is still necessary
Jan 11, 2010 @ 23:26
^good idea
nonetheless, looks great
Jan 12, 2010 @ 14:15
^^^ thanks, i was wondering if anyone with these knows if after a little while these begin to settle in the crotch? feels like my balls are in my stomach

you mean hemmed...DO NOT taper them

Jan 12, 2010 @ 17:51
bullsdog i was meaning to say the fit looks good, but do you have wide hips? like bow'd hips? once the stacks settle you might not need a hem
Jan 12, 2010 @ 20:20
Ryan - that was a typo, meant to say hemmed

DID I REALLY JUST GET A COMPLIMENT FROM SUBP????!!!!! hahaha but thanks man, no the hips just flare out on these, but its only day 2, once the denim starts settling overall, i'm sure the hips will as well

again tho, does anyone with experience with these know if the crotch area loosens up a bit? my balls are like in my stomach
Jan 13, 2010 @ 19:28

Waist is starting to get even more loose, easier to sag now (:
you can see dem whiskers coming in too :D
Jan 16, 2010 @ 19:34
These are taking a bit slower than I expected but besides that, I can't wait for the indigo to actually develop through, shits gonna look dope. After like 2 and a half months the denim from my knee down is still stiff as fuck, the stacks haven't settled into a softer state, I don't mind. Post pics in a few months.

Jan 18, 2010 @ 15:04

tats a nice fit, pretty high rise isn't it?
Jan 18, 2010 @ 17:46
Definitely not a high rise, a mid-rise, but usually a slim straight like this will have a lowered rise, take for example, the warehouse 660, or studio d'artisan 103.
Jan 18, 2010 @ 18:00
agreed, definitely a mid rise... and thanks for the compliment on the fit...

Technique - how long did it take for your stacks and honeycombs to start settling?
Jan 18, 2010 @ 20:29
I'm not technique, but deep creases set quickly on the eternal denim, especially the 811 because of the way its constricted, so I would say about a week wear to get them settled well.
