I just copped some 301s as well, they're tight as hell right now. Gonna wear them in and hope they stretch. Heaviest jeans I've ever owned though, holy shit.

Definitely go 1 down or TTS, I'm one down right now and my hips hurt from wearing them. The denim is super thick where the seams are, so it's a pretty painful break-in period - at least in my experience.

Iron Heart x Self Edge CPO Jacket

One of our hottest items this winter is a jacket we did with Iron Heart out of a black and gray heavy cotton fabric with a super lightweight inner lining. The jacket has a 2-way metal zipper that's anodized black with tan leather pulls.

Whenever I measure my 'waist' it ends up being like 32/33, 'hips' being 33-35. I got 32s, I could have probably got 31, but for the price($150shipped via third party), i could care less. For the experience and fit, its all good, just living and learning.

Whenever I try things tagged over 32, always seems too big and falling off. These sit at my hips with no sagging options, not to say these are skin tight, but they sit at my hips. I would rather have my nuts breathe than suffocate.

I suggest trying IH634s on if possible, or be willing to ship back to exchange if you don't like the sizing opted.

Knee bulges are there, along with hip-flare, but that is probably because of the straight cut. The shoes I choose to wear are usually bulky, or boot-like, but I like wearing all my jays, and these ones are a particular fave, and by the door.

lefty's fit looks good, minus the stacks. Hemming a couple inches would take that "sloppiness" away..it's harder to get away with stacks on a looser/straight fit than it is with a slim/tapered fit.

I think you should go size down because of that hip flare. It will only get worse - unless you sag of course.

If they were stretched out by a previous owner, soaking might actually help.
