what model and denim? true waist?


Thank you, wasn't quite sure with the fit, due to the fact that these are my first pair of raw / selvedge denims. (yeah, the hype seems to be on.. cool )

Model is Grim Tim Dry Red Selvage.

True Waist means whether these badboys are tts or not, right?
yeah, they kinda are, maybe somewhat smaller..

They are my first pair of raw denim, so I can only compare them to other jeans.
they actually fit like alamedas from altamont or 511s from Levi's.

Can't tell anything about the stretching, I just copped them..

That's a good fit, I think people are basically wondering what your actual waist size is, as in when you take a tape measure and measure that (that's what your true waist size is), compared to the tagged size.

Normally I wear a 32/32 in Altamont Alamedas or a 31/32 in Levi's 511.

The waist of the Nudies is, measured lying flat on the ground, about 41 cm, about 2,5 cm smaller than my normal jeans size.
Hope that they'll stretch a bit..

I'm 177cm tall and my weight is about 66kg.

the conversion to feet/inch/pounds is up to you. ;)

I've tried three pairs in the store.
the sizes were: W31/L32, W32/L34, W31/34
the funny thing is, that the W31/L32 were the same waist size (I laid them on the table, on above the other) as the W32/34.
only the W31/W34, which I finally purchased, were somewhat smaller.

Don't know if this is the right place to post my question, so don't bite my head off if it isn't.

I've been looking to purchase a pair of Nudies, but I haven't decided on which pair I wanted. Though after trying on a few pairs at Barney's I've pretty much narrowed it down to a pair of Thin Finns. My question is, how do the Organic Dry Ecru Emb compare to the Dry Stretches? Do they fit similar, is one pair any darker than the other, does one age better than the other, etc?

Also, does anyone have any insight on the Org. Strikey Used or Dry Black Coated Thin Finns?

They fit similar cuz they're the same cut, and to my knowledge, they're the same color, but the dry stretches have a gold logo while the organics have a white one. In terms of aging (im assuming you mean fades), the organics take waaay longer for fades to show through.

For TF, i'd advise sizing down 1 at the most. They stretch out about 1 size i think.

Probably, you should try on a 28 then go up as necessary.

it WILL be too big. it is going to stretch a shit ton. grimitms also have stretch in them.
