From what I know, the "white stitch" Nudies are an Ecru which is the natural colour of cotton, they may fade differently.

But I'm not sure if they come in Slim Jims, I know for sure they come in Thin Finns.


Shit, my spot didn't have the Ecru jims in my sizerazz

Anyway, copped my second pair of nudies today. Slim Jim Dry Japan.

Looking at the Slim Jim Dry Japan it looks like its measurements at size 31 tagged make it a bit tighter than a pair of APC NS at 30 (What I have now). Will the Nudies stretch the same or should I look at going up a size?

Naw, no signs of crotch tear on my finns at all...although I'm only at about 90 days with them. I like them alright. I definitely want to cop some japanese denim in the near future, but Nudies are readily available here and I don't like to buy jeans without trying them on. I don't think mine tear because I've never sized down on them. I've never been able to find a pair smaller than 28, and even 28s are rare.

Edit: to polska.dave, I'll let you know after I've worn them in a bit more. Mine are tagged 29 but measure 30. I'm kind of worried about the stretching myself, they fit almost perfectly right now.

NO, cotten duck *sufu* rides everyday with raw denim. Its def the stress from sizing down and sagging homie.

Just got my APC NS like a month ago but saw some Slim Jim Dry Japans on ebay for a pretty good price so im thinking of getting them.
Anyone else size down on your nudies? I know I went down three on my APCs, so im sure 2 would be good on Slim Jims.

It seems that people have a lot of issue with stretching... I have a pair of SSSs and they seem to fit fine. I went with the normal sizing down one with them. If i soak or wash them, they tighten up and stretch back out to perfect in about 3 hours.

try checking out mynudies.com pics and see how others are doing. A lot of people on there say that they fade a lot better after the first wash, believe it or not.

Yeah dude. That's how my StraightSven's are. I had them for over 4 months and have been wearing them every day and I'm noticing barely any fading.

Size down 1". So go with a 37"x34 inseam. I haven't really seen any 37" Nudies though. True to size would work too, they might stretch out a bit to be a bit loose but I got true to size and it works fine. As for fits, it all depends on what he wants. Slim Jim is one of the more popular Nudie fits though.

Slim jims are really skinny all the way down to the leg opening which is slightly boot cut. (For a better description go to the Nudies Official Website). Most people size down 1 for slim jims. They don't stretch nearly as much as APC.

They're in between skinny and straight. Size one down from your true waist.

If you have to size up with your jeans on account of your large thighs I suggest you don't size down on Nudies. Slim Jims are tight on the thigh, you should try on a pair though.

Where could I try on a pair? And about the boot cut, does that mean the bottom is really wide?

The jeans I wear a lot now are my 511's. How are the slim jims compared to the 511s?

slim jims are straight the whole leg so it gives the bottom a boot cut look. if u want a more tapered one then go for some thin finns or grim tims

Thin finns are much tighter than 511s...I have both. Even Slim Jims are much looser than 511s so I don't think he'll have a problem with a similar size or even sizing down one.

What are you talking about?

Slim Jims are not bootcut and A.P.C.s stretch just as much as Nudies or any other raw denim.
