Hi there, i dont usually post here, i like just reading stuff, but i have a question...

I have a pair of SJ dry ecru embo 28/32 which i LOVE. I ordered a pair of SJ cold denim (not raw i know i know) in the same size, but the sizing is way different! it is much wider esp in the tigh area... the sizing chart on the nudie site says they should be the same, but they really arent!

My question is: would SJ broken twill be the same sizing like dry ecru embo or more like cold denim? I would hope the sizing difference is because of the cold denim not being raw? in that case i should be good ordering a pair of broken twill in 28/32, right?

Obviously all advice is welcome, but some words from someone who has acces to sizing of both dry ecru embo and broken twill would be nice....

these kinda look like they've been soaked already (just based on the fade on the denim, the blue looks like what i had on my 2nd soak, but this was after 16 months of wear...the crotch is gonna blow out any day now).


just a question for anyone with organic ecru's. (i've got thin finn, organic ecru's)
how long did it take you guys to break them in???

i'm hoping these stretch out, they're a little snug (i should've sized up on these instead of going true to fit). i know OE's take a lot longer to wear in. i'm afraid that these will rip before they're even broken in


My SJDJ's have only been dry cleaned once, because some meatball sauce got on the jeans on the first week of wear. After that, these haven't seen any water or washing yet.

Will continue to wear them, as I still see some fading and whiskers coming. Will update a couple months later.

I just got a pair of NDS Easy Emils I copped off of Ebay for $32, these are my first and I def feel tension in the crotch area, is that a bad sign or did everybody go through that phase and will it eventually stretch out to ease the tension?

I just bought a pair of nudie average joes, sz 34, sized down 2 from my true waist. They fit pretty tight right now, how much stretching should I expect? I tried a 36 and it fit terribly big...

I'm looking for a slim fit but I have big thighs so i find sizing down on a regular fit usually works well.
