I don't see the point of sizing up on thin finns, if you want a looser fit, just get slim jims. Those thin finns that guy posted obviously look bad. I'm sure most of you have a store around you that sells nudies, all this wasted time asking about sizing up or sizing down can be easily avoided by going to a store and trying them on for yourself.

But my honest word of advice is to size down to the smallest size you can possibly get on because they will stretch. But I do like my jeans to be fairly slim fitting.

I sized up 2 on my Thin Finns and I think they look pretty good. Slim Jims are only baggier towards the bottom whereas the Finns taper.
But yeah, I agree with you. The fit on those Finns isn't very good.

Bought my first pair of nudie's today (dry RR's). They are a lil' tight but they'll stretch alot, right?

I'm new to the whole dry thing so if anyone has some dry-noobie tips, much appreciated!

Wear them hard, wash them when they're truly and utterly dirty. Beyond that, everything's just conjecture.

i'd say size down on everything except slim kims. i went down to a 28 on mine and have had 'em for about 2 months, can't really say that the waist stretched out haha.

A tailor can reinforce it quickly and inexpensively. Or, if you're handy with a needle, you can do it yourself.

I was wondering about the Straight Sven denim in dry black selvedge should i size down or up or stay true to size. Im a size 34-36 and i was wondering if a 36 would be fine in these? I like my denim to fit a good size (not too baggy not too tight) sort of like the APC rescues...Is this a good choice, to get them 36 (do they shrink, stretch???confused any help would be appreciated Thanks

Get a 31 because the waist is actually a 32 on the Jims and then they will stretch at that. Trust a nig, got both.

you dont necessarily HAVE to size down 2

it really all depends on how you like the fit.

in youre a 33 in STF, i recommend a 32 simply because 31 might extremely uncomfortable and especially if your not into the "fitted" look or feel.

Another thing to keep in mind is which pair of slim jims you get. There is a slight differences between different types of jims out there.

I have had STFs before and Ive had jims too, this info is just from my experience
