Noticed there wasn't one so might as well make one.

Talk about anything related to Imperial Denim here.

I'm dissapointed the off white stitching never made it through production. I was really looking forward to it.

Mar 17, 2008 @ 05:59
my next pair of denim is definitely going to be imperial.
Mar 17, 2008 @ 10:38
it shouldve been youre first pair, youre from fucking Australia!! lawl.

I must say I am starting to despise the wider leg opening on Dukes, but I will have to live with it.

Stacking is intense on those dukes. Nice job.

i really dont like the fit on the dukes, the leg opening is to obig for my taste
Mar 18, 2008 @ 00:50
i think the leg opening is just perfect on the dukes. Not to big but not too small. i cant stand 19cm leg openings, thats why im not a huge can of the seximps

yeah, it's a win-win situation.

i can't really stand jeans that have a too small a leg opening.

if i hadn't just bought a fresh pair of denim, i would be on the shearer's in a millisecond
Mar 18, 2008 @ 08:28
if you dont like small leg openings, the shearers wouldnt be a good choice. Of course, you can probably try them on ahead of time too.
Mar 20, 2008 @ 02:09
are there any other noteable pairs of imperials?

hahaha my mistake. I actually meant too LARGE an opening. A big part of why i love the look of the shearers.

2 months of every day wear. Didn't want to post in the Contest thread just yet. Pic is kind of dark, but the creases are really starting to show and the mooseknuckles are getting more noticeable.

Mar 24, 2008 @ 00:04

those are shearers
thats 5 days old, i have had them for a month now, il will post updated pics in 2 days
no stacking cuz i'm 6'1", but the fit is goodblushing
Mar 24, 2008 @ 00:19
^yeah, was gonna say there looks to be too little stacking. lookin good anyway!
Mar 24, 2008 @ 00:26
thats why it sucks being tall
Mar 24, 2008 @ 05:54
any pics?
Mar 24, 2008 @ 23:28
How do imperials fit?
Mar 26, 2008 @ 07:08
I got Kings, Dukes and SExI04s...
Kings i didn't like after about 3mths of wear so i got some Dukes...Dukes are awesome...had mine for 11 months or so...

Now i got a pair of SExI04s...they nice as hell but its been summer in Aus..so too hot to wear atm....preferring the more worn out denim in hot temps...but can't wait to start breaking them in...

Here are my good friend Quinn's 1.5 year no wash Black Imperial Dukes. SICK.

depends on if you can find a good tailor in des moines. i don't know of one.
Apr 02, 2008 @ 21:47
I say just keep them the way they are, they already have a taper to them, and the raw denim is what it was made to be and to fit the customer, otherwise you should of bought a different model if you wanted more of a taper.

Don't taper.
Apr 03, 2008 @ 00:01
are the dukes zip fly or button fly? are there any imperials that are zip fly?
Apr 03, 2008 @ 00:13
I believe they are all button fly. I personally like button fly, at first I didn't like it but I got used to it. The only thing that sucks is when you're in a rush to zip up your pants, it takes a little longer than just zipping it up.

with zip ups theres always a slight posibility you may be walking around with it open, looking like an idiot...with buttons you'll never have that problem, unless you are an idiot
