What fit is the closest to nudie grim tims?
I was told the Shearers but didn't want that big of thigh. I wear a size 30 in nudies and was thinking of getting the same size in imperials but not sure what cut or if I should size down another size plase help!

just got my TTS 30" Imp Dukes back from the tailor. They had mad holes from never being hemmed and getting caught under my vans.

Got them hemmed to a 34" inseam and tapered from about the knee 1" to a 7" opening. love em, now they are finally wearable again!




and the current rotation. really wanting to get some iron heart 666 od's . dunno if i'll pull the trigger though.

Shearers from what vie heard are hard to pull of unless you have huge thighs and it also has a drastic taper from the knee

the dukes have a smaller thigh but bigger leg opening

Opinions...
Got a job overseas (mechanics supervisor) for at least a year, probably more. So, I have been wearing my black kings for a year already... and was hesitant to keep them as everyday wear with the new position... so the question is: should I get a new pair (indigo perhaps) or just wear the pair I have now till they fall apart?

dunno if you got em yet.. but most i would size down is one. imps don't stretch much. my true to size dukes fit fine without a belt almost a year and a half in.

hey guys, im new to raw denim and am looking for my first pair but dont wanna fuck this up...

would a pair of Imperials be ideal for someone tall? (im 6'5")

i want to get enough wear in them to have nice whiskers and honeycombs, and still want a little bit of stacks, but nothing overboard.

is anyone on here tall like me and still has had success with Imps?

and pics are helpful too if you have them

they do have a 38" inseam so i think you'll be good. i would stay away from APC's, Nudies, well.. most the cheaper raw denims actually.. most max out around 35" inseams if that.

Selfedge.com has several nicer brands (including imperial) and you can look at their meausurement charts to find exactly what you want

I really don't get it but I ordered some imperial dukes awhile back in size 32 and I measured my waist and was a true 33....yet they are pretty baggy and dont fit tight at all for me...sucks
