How does the selvage look now? Is it wider?

I'm thinking of tapering my NS, but don't want that wide ugly selvage.

yea the selvedge is alot wider; apparently tapering from the inside is more difficult and my tailor said it'd cost $20 more so i didn't bother. I don't really cuff these anyways.

I just bought those from somebody on the forums. He listed it at 36 x 30 so I'm assuming it's been hemmed. I'm guessing these are Imperial Kings but I really don't know. I'm hoping you guys have some input... getting hemmed to 30 inseam I imagine they're going to be pretty baggy.

Looks like the only option is to get them tapered and sag them a couple of inches. At $50 they'll be flippable. Thanks for the input

I usually wear 34 x 32 so 36 x 30 is a stretch, but I can't lie, $50 for new imperials is something I couldn't pass up. I'm planning on taking the imperials and a pair of sugarcane's to self edge and see if I can get them both tapered at a discount. I might have to send them down to Denim Doctors in LA otherwise. If anybody's had experience with adjustments at either store I'd appreciate any recommendations, although this is probably the wrong thread for it.

If you have thunder thighs and are looking for a skinny fit, Shearers are more tapered and have roomier thighs than dukes.
