Hm, maybe they'd actually be good for me as I have pretty big thighs haha
Would I be good with the same size as my NC?

you should compare all the measurements and see. you better make sure you have big thighs if youre getting shearers...they are totally hit or miss jeans.

if you have huge thighs and skinny calves --> shearers
if you have a pretty balanced leg shape --> dukes

shearers are kinda weird imo. they are hella tapered...you definitely cant just buy them and expect them to work out without analyzing your frame. on the other hand, dukes seem to work well for everyone.

I have big legs and thighs. so i'm not sizing down on dukes, going tts.. I feel like one fat fucking bitch.

Is that my Shearer picture you have as your avy? lol
I just noticed it while scrolling the thread, if so I'm flattered.
Wish I still had my Shearers.

fit pics long overdue.

My imperial kings size 30 (i normally wear 29-30), tapered from knee down to about 7.75 inches
owned for about 13 months now, worn on and off, and i definitely could've sized down 1 but got these for cheap.

I agree with F/22 about hemming them but the fit itself looks great, it's a nice slim fit.

Don't think you needed to size down one.

Imperial will ship directly from their site. Idk the circumstances, though. I remember someone on here ordering directly from them and getting them for cheaper, too. E-mail them, and see.

Nope, I'm more of a boot guy... Made the executive decision to get them taken in a bit, had 3 inches taken off. Maybe the next pair I get; i'll keep 'em full length.

When you guys size down do you size down from the true waist size or denim brand size.

My true waist is sz29 and I have been wearing sz30 Levis and Diesel.
Can I wear a sz 28 Imperial Shearers?

I don't agree with sizing down too much for imperials. down 1 max or that shit'll be tight.

just got my Imperial Dukes Indigo Sz. 29. Fits me a bit tight right now, just able to button all buttons but no sag.

have pics up when i get em a hem. stacks like crazy. dunno how i put up with it for my last pair.

They're falling apart, the stitching at the seat of the pants as well as the stitching that's holding the pocket bags in is coming out. I love the jeans, but I think I'll have to retire them soon.

Thanks! Pre-soak. I'm not going to hot soak them, the waist is absurdly tight right now.
