Yeah, I myself am looking to grab a pair of S5010XX Black Raws when they re-stock.
I know it has been asked but anyone have an estimated re-stock date?

Also, for future reference how am I supposed to size on these.. I am a true 34 so would I go 33?

**Hm.. I was reading back through some pages & a lot of people are saying that the quality of the jeans aren't that great. I was thinking of grabbing these but I would shell out a few extra to get a pair of Samurais if it means better quality. Also, how is the quality of these compared to Ande Whalls, I might have to pick up a pair of those instead since the price point is about the same with these (hopefully) or a pair of 3Sixteens.

seriously, samurais quality exceeds all those, so get those if you can
skulls quality is not bad, but many people complain that the stitching is not that durable

Thanks! Yeah, honestly the only Samurais that I am considering getting is the Black Knights since that is the only black pair I seen from them unless there is another one with a similar fit.

Yes and I'm not sure but probably, its just stitching back and forth that makes it thick.

Its the nature of the unwashed denim, you didn't know these fade before you bought them? Or are they just fading pretty quickly from your point of view?

I like the darkness of them brand new but they have got more bluer but still dark

its kinda like the denim turn less dark everwhere from just simple wear which is a new for me

yup i see whisker fades forming already and its been a month flat

Tech what denim would u recommend that has around the same cut as Skull 5010
but the denim stays super dark even when breaking them in

I dont know about black denim cuz its dark to break in

Black denim is just as easy to break in as indigo denim the only difference is the fading properties.

Skull makes a black model of the 5010xx which can still produce very nice creases but in your case since you want dark denim that stays dark with the 5010xx fit, this caters to you exactly.

Also somet makes some nice models as well, for example:

i would recommend a pair of samurai 710xx. they are still deep dark indigo and have a slim straight fit as the skull 5010, but i feel like they fade in a bit slower.

Nah, those fade rather quickly. If you want a jean that stays dark while also showing some fading with a decently slim fit, you want to go with Studio D'Artisan 103, or Momotaro 0701 or 0703 from blueingreen. There's much more out there other than samurai, flathead, or skull that are actually cheaper! If you know what you want, there's always more options out there!
