^ hey kiya, do you guys do tapering as well? i'd like a pair but i wanna know reliable guys taper it

We don't taper jeans, and we are from the camp that firmly believe that tapering should NOT be done to a pair of jeans, and that if you want something with a smaller leg opening to purchase a different pair of jeans..
We think that you should let the cut do it's thing and not mess with it by taking a brand new pair of $300 jeans and ripping them apart to reassemble the leg with a smaller leg opening.
It can still be done, we just don't recommend it...
There's even a place in SF that does a decent job at it called SF Tailors on Geary St.

@kiya - thing is i like a really skinny fit and the brand that i want to get (skull or flat head) don't provide it in that size but i like the feel of that denim on me when i'm wearing it and the resulting awesome fades/honeycombs from wearing it. it's kind of hard for me to have my cake and eat it too so that's why i sometimes resort to tapering. but you're very right there, the jeans are built to fit the person a certain way and it shouldn't be taken away from that. it's sort of like changing mona lisa's face cause you don't find her pretty. but for my situation, tapering is the only way to do it.

You need the SEXFH05.

No worries Lin! Just got these in the mail yesterday.

My hands are turning blue very easily. I definitely did some research for my next pair of Japanese denim and tehse fit the bill. My only complaint is the small opening for the button holes. That's kinda annoying for getting on.

They don't fit the best on me near the crotch/ass area. That's cos I don't have much of an ass, but a big package >

I don't see any real issues with Skulls. Aside from the stitching that seems hit and miss, they're really good jeans for the price. I paid $175 shipped for mine.

they havent stretched out to a point where i can fully sag them.

don't worry about the buttons, it'll be easy to put in a few weeks.
