Sizing and trying to resell, took forever and didn't get back nearly what I paid. Didn't get scammed.

you got lucky, shit never worked for me like that when I had my flat heads

Yeah, you have to be really lucky. My APCs sold in less than a week and bought a new size a day after I sold it with no money loss or gain.

But then again, they were APCs compared to FH. I can understand.

Well i usually buy my pants size 32, so i sized down 1 and bought a 31. They say the 31 measures out to like a 31.5 so I figure I will shrink and then eventually stretch to fit a little loose. I dont want them too tight cause i like da option to sagggg knamean

i think you made a wise decision...i should have done that instead of getting them TTS. i'm a also size 32.

Flat Head Black Mint Shirt - Aging Differently

Flat Head has finally gotten us a shipment of the Black Mint shirt... A shirt where the fabric was developed by Flat Head and designed to age with wear but not in the traditional sense of "fading".

This shirt is made of a new fabric by Flat Head; they start out with a soft black pressed outer / brushed inner felt fabric then they silkscreen a mini grid pattern on the shirt. With wear the grid pattern wears off and leave just the black back-ground on high wear areas such as the elbows, arm pits, etc..

It's difficult to explain in words what the shirt looks like after some wear, but it's quite amazing as we've had one that has been worn in for six months on and off and it's like nothing we've seen before.

The Flat Head Black Mint Shirt is now available in-store and in our online store:

Flat Head Herringbone Button-Down - COTTON DUCK APPROVED

From Flat Head's Fall Collection comes this herringbone button down with cat's eye buttons made of a super soft woven cotton fabric.

This is a bit of a different style for Flat Head but we're liking it very much. The cut and feel of the shirt is great and the selvedge fabric detailing down the inside front and at the side seams is also a nice touch.

Cotton Duck approves this garment in every way, which is no surprise considering his taste for fine garments produced in a vintage style.

Available now in our online store:

If you're a 33 in the SE05BSP then go one size down to a 32 for all the rest of the Flat Head models..

why?

some of the best results i have had is when i have worn the denim raw for anything between 6 to 12 months and then just chucked them in the washing machine on 30 degrees (no powder - just water) when they were dirty and smelling beyond repair.

is that the same for FH denim, because i noticed everyone has been soaking it, but is it neccessary if it already fits fine??

Yes, flathead is unsanforized. which means you will be fucked the first time time you do wash or soak them if you buy them to fit you beforehand. but it's your money, do what you want.

haha word me too!!!!

I didnt really want to do it, but people scared me into doing it just becuase I don't want my combs and other fades displaced like some somalian refugees once i wash for the first time.

x post from evo thread

3 month update....

Lost my wallet at around the 2 month mark. Premature wash (cold water, minimal agitation) last night because I got drunk and threw up on them. Original plan was to cold soak and then hot wash at the 1 year mark. I'm still going to try and abstain from any more washes until august, but we'll see how that goes.
