they look like they will be perfect after a soak

I don't know which to choose between the Slings and stone naomi or the Flathead balder.
Jul 03, 2010 @ 16:14
looking at the pics on SE id say get the slings even though i love FH jeans, the slings hav a better fit

The Slings seemingly fit "better" because they have elastane in em, giving them some extra stretch. The Balders are definitely a more relaxed fit.

The Flat Head Summer Collection of Shirts

A collection of summer shirts just rolled in from Flat Head including a rerun of their popular 4001BK slim black jean.

Both the short sleeve hounds shirts and the selvedge chambray shirts are great summer weight fabrics and still maintain that amazing quality which Flat Head is known for.

Included in the shirt collection is a set of blank flatlock seam t-shirts.
Flat Head have acquired and rebuilt the world's only running (from our knowledge) vintage flatlock seam machine from the 1930's.
The machine fuses the two edges of fabric together creating a smooth, flat seam. Most clothes are sewn with overlock seams which are a cheaper, faster, and easier way to sew clothes but it leaves a bulky uncomfortable seam underneath.
Flatlock seams leave a smooth and extremely strong surface, almost like there are no seams at all.
The flatlock seam combined with the loopwheeled fabric and triple stitched collar result in the ultimate black or white t-shirt.

We've also had Flat Head do a new run of the 4001BK black slim jean, one of the only black denim jeans in the world that fades and ages like indigo denim. Also in is a set of black or tan solid leather wallet chains with brass fittings.

Hey, I hate to post a pic of an old release like this, but could anyone tell me how these black mint shirts fit? The only one I can track down is a size 42 and I'm worried it's too big and don't want to bother buying and having to tailor/butcher it.
It has a 21.5 inch chest which I think could slide since I wear up to 20 inch chests...but the 19" shoulders?? I don't know...
It would be amazing if someone out there has one and would want to sell it? PM Me. Thanks.

quick sizing question
I emailed kiya a few times, he said i would be good with a 29 in the 4001bk considering i wear a tagged 27 in newstandard.

Im just a little confused on what to get, because i measured the waist of my newstandard an i get 15.5 so a 31 waist. so should i get a size 30 now?

*my newstandards right now fit snug and when i got them they buttoned all the way after a little struggle.
Jul 20, 2010 @ 21:04
Lovin my BSPs. Initial soak took about 1 inch off the waist, although I expected a bit more shrinkage. Amazing how hairy they get after that first soak!
Jul 21, 2010 @ 11:42
love BSP but i still my own 1001 smh
Jul 29, 2010 @ 12:44
hmmm
doing a third soak on my f310s

first two soaks werent enough.

Jul 29, 2010 @ 20:08

can anybody help with 1001 sizing? i down 1 on my duke so i use sz31
should i use the same size like my duke or go to true on 1001??
Jul 31, 2010 @ 11:45
I read a lot that 1001s stretch a lot more, some ppl regret nt sizing down. Email selfedge to verify that you'll get your sizing issues taken care of or go on superdenim.
Jul 31, 2010 @ 21:04
That's a really nice fit on those 310's.
