I eagerly await my F310's.......

The sooner I can hang up these Shearers the better!

yo!
why are you retiring your shearers so soon?
correct me if i am wrong but you have only had them a few months haven't you? (i remember reading the Imperial thread and saw a couple of posts from you about the shearer).

i was actually going to put an order in with self edge after christmas and new year for a pair of shearers, let me know what you think of them.

Double Boomtime Winter Flannels from Flat Head

Over two years ago when we met Mr. Kobayashi, the founder and president of Flat Head, for the first time he was wearing a shirt which we fell in love with instantly. We couldn't believe the quality of the fabric and how much character there was within the pattern of the flannel, it was this shirt he was wearing...

From Flat Head's new Winter line, made of a heavy flannel comes these new super comfortable flannel shirts made of 100% Zimbabwe cotton where the interior of the shirt has been combed to a super soft feel.

The fabric is woven on a vintage loom and therefore has a very three dimensional pattern due to the shuttle loom and also the heavy gauge of thread used to weave the flannel.

The shirt is available in three colors, and are available only as one run with no restocks. All come with selvedge side seam accents and mother of pearl inlay snap buttons including the self edging fabric running up the inner seam of the front of the shirt.

The Winter Flannel is modeled by Mission Badass Josh Harris and shot by Sidney Lo. Check the online store for hi-res photos, specs, and more information:

tryna decide between skulls and flatheads for next jeans, what y'all niiggas thank?
December 23, 2008 @ 20:38:13
skulls take longer to fade, flatheads fade extremely fast..

flathead stitching is poly-cotton which is much more durable compared to skulls 100% stitching

rivets and hardware is nice on both, as well as long inseam
cant go wrong with 5010xx fit, as well as the flathead fits..

to me it seems like its a tie, their both great pieces of denim..

if you like hairy, darker, damper looking jeans, go with the flatheads.
skulls give you that typical raw unwashed denim sheen.
they're both awesome. you have to see them in person to know which you really prefer though.

kickpush:that's a really nice fit. me thinks a hem would make them look 1000% better though. that's just od.
December 25, 2008 @ 03:11:28
i've got skull 5010xx and Flathead 380's and I like the Skulls slimmer fit, but if you like the baggier fit you should get the F380s

find some measurements of flatheads and compare them to measurements of your current jeans
