why?

some of the best results i have had is when i have worn the denim raw for anything between 6 to 12 months and then just chucked them in the washing machine on 30 degrees (no powder - just water) when they were dirty and smelling beyond repair.

is that the same for FH denim, because i noticed everyone has been soaking it, but is it neccessary if it already fits fine??

Yes, flathead is unsanforized. which means you will be fucked the first time time you do wash or soak them if you buy them to fit you beforehand. but it's your money, do what you want.

haha word me too!!!!

I didnt really want to do it, but people scared me into doing it just becuase I don't want my combs and other fades displaced like some somalian refugees once i wash for the first time.

x post from evo thread

3 month update....

Lost my wallet at around the 2 month mark. Premature wash (cold water, minimal agitation) last night because I got drunk and threw up on them. Original plan was to cold soak and then hot wash at the 1 year mark. I'm still going to try and abstain from any more washes until august, but we'll see how that goes.

I'll try to get some up soon. Weathers been shitty lately and the jeans don't photograph well unless the sun is out.

Flathead Sale
My friend works in a denim shop and given an allowance of 5 discounted denims annually. This year is coming to an end and he's still left with 3 (After I got mine). So we thought we might as well extent it to you guys. His shop stocks F310, F380, and 1001.

Will be selling them for $235 For (F310 and F380), $260 for (1001) (Thru Paypal for your protection) including worldwide shipping. So PM me your size if you are interested to see if it's still available!

I'm torn between F310s and F380s! I just can't decide. Anyone wanna shed some experience with these?

I was planning on going 29s for F380s and 30s for F310s, since I wear 30s for my 511s? Would that be an accurate fit? What about after an initial warm soak?

310s are a slimmer fit than 380s. 380s are a straight fit. I have 380s that i bought true to size and i soaked them initially for about 2 hours. the good folks at self edge can definitely answer any questions you have.

i got f380s on their way...i hope they fit,, my true waist is 34 but i like them a little loose. i ordered tagged size 34, which selfedge's fit guide says is a 35, so after soaking and some wears they should be fitting just right...hyped to see some fades...i'll post fit pics when i get em

got the denimz this morning did a 2 hour cold soak and waiting for them bitches to dry

what's the difference between 1001 and 3001? is the 1001 the same cut, just thicker denim? And how slim are they? if i like the cut on my APC NS, will these be skinnier or baggier?

and should i get true to size or size up or down?
