Yes. Self Edge has the one-wash version (2009 Straight Fitted), while BiG has them raw. You'd probably save a ton of money by ordering them overseas. They're only like $140 retail.

So do you go TTS with this model 1947 type II, BiG shows them measuring 1" bigger then tagged after the hot soak.
Example. I'm getting 33 which is 36.5 pre-soak, hot soak takes 2.5 off leaving them around 34? Sugarcane owners gimme some input. I'm trying to purchase this week.

also I'm guessing they shrink more with a wash? Idk

Keep in mind that these jeans (even the TYPE II) are still repro cuts. If you're not down with a high rise or plan to sag look at the measurements carefully before buying.

Sugarcanes will shrink to tag size from my understanding/experience and stretch a little like all denim

I've done measuring comparisons to my apc NS, which I'm trying to get a fit far from them. I've also compared them to my lvc saddleman now if I can get a saddleman fit but a tad bit slim and raw wouldn't these type II be a good choice?

Yea, they're slightly slimmer, but the front rise and thigh are still the same measurements...

Depending on how you size I can't see these being slimmer than a levis 1947 cut that is already slimmed down. Do Saddlemans measure the same as LVC47?

Sugar Cane Summer Collection - Shorts & Shirts

Just received a new shipment of warm weather wear from Sugar Cane. This new collection consists of a pair of slim mid-length shorts and a couple of sugar cane and cotton fiber blend short sleeve shirts.

The shorts are made of a micro-striped Jean Cord fabric which breathes well but feels rugged at the same time. Both short sleeve shirts are made of fabric which is loomed from a blend of 50% cotton and 50% sugar cane fibers, Sugar Cane has been doing a limited number of these shirts every spring and slightly changing the pattern every year with the blue areas being natural indigo dyed.

Dam, does sugarcane make any skinny denim? All i know is that they make straight and baggy.

sc is more of a repro brand. there are a lot of other brands that do skinny better

My SC47's threads have been becoming loose to the point where the stitching is almost gone on my front pockets, back pockets, and crotch area. Is this normal? I haven't even worn these jeans for a long time.

Doesn't seem normal at all... I'm at about 6 months on and off wear and mine are still tough as hell

^_^... From what I remember Okinawas are 1 inch larger than tagged size pre-soak. So I'd go true as they'll shrink, then stretch to a comfortable size.

I know some people decide to size down one sometimes too depending on what fit you're trying to achieve

Let me know if you find some sort of crazy deal smile. I've wanted Okis for a long time

Those are nudie thin finns. They are much looser around the calf and ankle because it isn't tapered. Thighs are tighter on the SCs though,I just stopped wearing the nudies because I love the fit on the SCs so much. I can post fit pics if you want.
