I'm thinking about selling some Evisu shit, PM me if youre interested in size 34 and 36 jeans and size L t-shirts, longsleeves, hoodies and sweaters. Man, I got a lot of Evisu shit. Cellphone cord, pencilkeeper, wallet, you name it, I rock(ed) it.
Jun 01, 2008 @ 08:19
Oh yeah and some of the shit Im about to sell is like six years old. Vintage, son. PM me when youre interested.
Jun 01, 2008 @ 14:36
someone post some nicely faded pairs for me to get an idea of how mine will fare.
Jun 01, 2008 @ 17:33
Whoa that takes hundreds of days of wearin 'em. Or you can buy Evisu EU ED's.
Jun 02, 2008 @ 12:29
fawk i missed the sample sale!!! i was home that day too doing jack shit.

1. what pair of jeans doesn't take "hundreds of days of wearin 'em" to get a solid fade?
2. from what ive seen, EU Evisu fades are awful.

sooooooooooo......

Wow, thats so cool. I'm going to Japan during my holidays, hopefully i'll find a pair of jeans that fit me
Jun 03, 2008 @ 12:46
if youre looking for slimmer evisu, id try the 2000 or 2005 cuts in japan.
Jun 03, 2008 @ 12:48
I'm more into the heritage Evisu.Well beggars cant be choosers i guess. On another note, The denim scene is so much different in the US than in the UK
Jun 03, 2008 @ 12:52
heritage evisu is a step below the japanese line... and i dont think they sell it in japan. if youre going to be in japan, go to the evisu store, and you will see what im talking about... you choose the cut (2000= 66 levis, 2001=baggy, 2005=slim lower rise, etc...), you choose the paint color, and they paint them in store for you.

im more into the heritage line too... but thats just what i can get. blue in green just got the first made in japan evisu to be offically sold in the united states, and they are 350$ AMAZING JEANS THO.......... best ive ever seen(much better than my 2 pair of heritage)

Yes i do, heres a pic of my evisu's. Just after they've been hot soaked and dried. That probably wasn't the best idea, I'm hoping to buy some more laid back evisu's next time if u know what i mean.

I went to the Evisu Taylor in Daikanyama yesterday and the store was amazing.

Ended up with a pair of No.1 2000 and I'll be picking it up from the store on the 8th.
Jun 06, 2008 @ 07:48
im jealous... what color gulls did you get?

oh....x-posted from the evo thread, my almost 2 1/2 month evisu heritage

Jun 06, 2008 @ 10:58
Cheep,

I ended up going with a white gull on the left side, and the tokyo blue on the right. I was a little hesitant with going with a color gull but coming from the faceless APC, I thought it would be a nice little change of pace.

But the store, all I'm going to say is "wow." The wide range of quality products were amazing... I'm hoping to pick up more items, but I'll have to see with the financial issue.

Oh yeah, a customer at the store, whom I'm guessing is a regular since he knows all of the staff, came up behind me while I was looking over the gulls samples and lifted up my shirt. He was looking for a leather patch, anything that would indicate the brand. We had a small exchange of broken english and japanese, then when I finally understood, I said "APC." He responded with a facial expression that seems as if it was a mixture of disgust and disappointment.
Jun 06, 2008 @ 11:49
well... compared to all the jeans you can get in japan, apc are pretty shit. ive had a pair and didnt like em. denim was boring, and the details just werent there.
Jun 08, 2008 @ 09:25
I went to back to the store today to pick up my pair:

Please excuse the lighting:

I am very satisfied with them. If the hostel has a bath tub, I would love to hot soak it and begin wearing it, but unfortunately, it does not.

boo
Jun 08, 2008 @ 15:31
I really do love them.

Never realized that you're from Boston, Roughan. You'll be seeing these a lot if you're around the city.
Jun 08, 2008 @ 15:58
Yeah, straight out of Dorchester.

But I'm always around the city (I work on Newbury), so you'll see these if you're around the area.
Jun 08, 2008 @ 18:10
haha, so i'm gonna be seeing you around too (my GF works at sugar heaven) and our evisu's can give each other high fives. I need BiG to get 38's back in, I probably won't go with anything on my back pockets
Jun 13, 2008 @ 23:13
Haha, somehow, the evisu thread became a little Boston thread.

Once I come back in Japan, I'll probably will always be on Newbury to slave my life away.

But lets not get too off topic... Looking forward to wearing them.
Jun 13, 2008 @ 23:41
LMAO, that zippo is sweet!!!

Edit: OH SHIT $150!?!?!?!?!?
Jun 15, 2008 @ 14:52
Good spot to buy evisu's
ya go to

http://www.shopsureel.com/products.cfm?Brand=Evisu

this is a great place to buy evisu online
Jun 16, 2008 @ 13:26
so is evisu.copm... and i think the price is the same. id rather go thru the company.
Jun 17, 2008 @ 04:50
what up, im thinking of coppin the plain raw denim, baggy evisus for $165 from their site not including shipping. Is it worth it ?
Is the denim really heavy and rigid to sit on your kicks nicely without going all flimsy after a few wears ?
Is the quality there ?

Im only thinking about it since its hard to find some plain raw jeans.

Also they are listed under baggy, but in the description it says straight fit or somesuch.
I need baggy ones. Any help, like japanese websites etc please tell me.

Thnks

Ooh. I just bought the last size 30 slim red stitched ninja's on the evisu website. I can't wait for it to get to my house. And it got marked down to 218 from 366, so happy.
Jun 26, 2008 @ 14:33
quick question
I've hot soaked my evisu heritage deep indigo "Anyone Jeans" for 5 hours, they are still bleeding ink and haven't shrunk much. Should I hot soak again, or wash even though I've barely worn them (1-2times).
