To Size up or Down?
I know, its a bit repetitive, but I'm about to cop skinny's from the evisu website, and I was wondering if I should size up or down. I wear waist size 30. Stick true to size?
Sep 17, 2009 @ 15:54
well im not familiar with evisu
rule of thumb size down with raw denim.
Sep 17, 2009 @ 16:25
No...that's not true at all. Raw denim is meant to shrink down to your waist so you would have to size up, but people size down because certain denim stretch differently then others. If your ordering the evisu with something like the #1 denim I would not size down..

one question in general: do evisu jeans tend to stretch out a lot?? the store members in japan told me to find the right size and then size up one size because of shrinking, but im still not sure if they should fit tight or not at the beginning.

i have a pair of evisus that are a bit big on the waist but perfect length. How can i shrink the waist? i read putting it in boiling hot water but that just ruins the quality of the jeans. any suggestions?

With my 0001's and 0005's I sized down 2/3 though.. From a 32-33 to a 30 and it fits perfectly now. People at Evisu HQ told me to generally size down as well.. Although it will probably shrink if I soak, which is why I'm not doing that atm.

Which pair were you looking at? The blue ones or the black ones? I have both and I only wear the black ones now.

slim or regular?

and are they sanforized or not? Help please blushing
Nov 28, 2009 @ 04:28
please dont buy the cheap evisu models just cause theyre cheap...theyre also ugly

if youre gonna do evisu, do it right and cop the No.1 for 350 from BiG

they are raw selvage and will fade the best

Anyone else breaking in Evisu's? I'm currently at 2 months of wear with my 0005's, will post pictures soon. They're coming along quite nicely though.
