from what i read they got some good reviews... the only down side that i read was it takes 2 weeks to make the denim (which is understandable, they are doing custom work) and ship em.

what i like is for another 2 bucks u can get a back pocket design. imma get some made after the holidays, cuz my fat ass needs some raw custom fit denim. im tired of this baggy garbage. lmao

See those two photos of their "selvedge"?
That's Iron Heart's 21 ounce selvedge indigo denim.
How do i know that? Because those photos were stolen off the Self Edge website from our blog post a year ago, and I TOOK the photos.
My god.

These jeans aren't even custom..
What's so custom about them?
You pick your cut then your size; the same things you'd pick if you went to ANY other website to order jeans.

LOL,
it's like tailoring your own jeans. Not all people can take jeans/skirts/pants and dresses off a rack and wear it. I am very short and I have a back. My jeans/skirts ect are too long when I buy them and tailoring them is getting old.

Thanks, yea cuz the last time I seen some raw denim in sz48 they wanted 300+, thats a lil too much for my budget LOL. And 501xx STF are nice but I gotta get em even bigger so when they shrink they fit LOL

You guys are insane if you really think you're going to end up with a half decent product.
Let's see here..
1. The company is based in India
2. Look at the rest of the products on their site for sale
3. They can't take photos of their own denim, so they're stealing photos off other websites (like mine)
4. I just noticed something else, MOST of the images on this site are stolen off random websites. Some of the clothing they're selling is even branded with already existing clothing brand names.

Yeah,I think we all know it's a rip,but you never had the "joys" of being short and having to have your shit tailored. it would be straight if it were though. no need to educate the educated. Who know's.

Your best bet is to lose some weight and buy jeans from a reputable company.

The jeans I received were a JOKE. Here are some of the comments I made in an email to them:

I received my jeans today and was very disappointed. First of all, they are wide-legged jeans when I asked for Skinny Tight Fit and specifically said I want them tight around the thigh in my description. Legs have a wider diameter at the top and then taper as they go down. A slim-fitting pair of jeans should follow this natural contour of the human body. Instead, they stay the exact diameter from top to bottom.

The pants are too large in almost every regard. The measurement around the bottom of the jeans is just simply longer than I asked for, and the length of the pants shorter. It is clear that makeyourownjeans does not understand the concept of slim and fitted jeans.

I wrote twice to them and got NO REPLY. What a scam.
