just copped low straights as well down 1 size in the one wash. so far my favorite fitting jeans i have ever owned and ive had a wide array from RRL slim fits to APC to Diors etc. these are solid denim, very mature fit. not too slim but still with a low enough rise and not too wide of a leg opening. all im hoping for is some more stretch in the waist

Just bought a pair of Low Straights from the Polo Ralph Lauren Store here in Chicago & I must say, the fit is AMAZING! For $230, its definitely worth it.

Came up on a pair of raw slims two weeks ago 30 x 32. Definitely fit really slim and I wouldve grabbed a 31 x 32 instead If I could but I LOVE them. Hopefully they stretch a little more

How much should I size down with straight rrl jeans? Don't wear em too slim. I just sized down 1 in my APC New Standards...

I am wearing 33/32 in Levis 511s. 32 in APC NS, Carhartt Chinos 32/32 ...

I would suggest a 34 waist. On my RRL's I tend to size 1 up from my regular size Levi's. After your first wash they will shrink a significant amount.

RRL raw denim is legit. I used to work at Rugby Ralph Lauren in Georgetown & RRL was next door. Every pair was like $200-400, so to get a set for $50 is a super steal! It might have to do with they are closing a bunch of stores because no one could afford it smh

i tried on a pair of pre-distressed RRLs yesterday, (dont remember the wash). tried on a 34 and a 33. Do they stretch more than they shrink? or is it the other way around?
The 34 fit great but was a little bit loose, if it shrinks a bit, then itll be perfect. The 33 fit as well, i was able to button it and there was no discomfort, the thighs were a bit snug, but if it stretches, then itll be fine.

i'd say they stretch out more (like an inch or so) then they shrink since they're sanforized. i have had the low straight model for a little over 6 months now. your gonna want to go tts or size down one depending on the cut
