there are some nice looking denims in here. Too bad i dont have the dedication to wear the same pair all the time. I got too many denims for me to rotate thru out the week. Good job guys!

Gap Morrison. 10 months of practically everyday wear. 1 soak 1 wash. A little dissapointed but that's what I get for wearing a $20 pair of jeans for almost a year. A lot of memories...

I will have better pics with less shadows after the final wash.

when you guys say wash,
you mean by throwing your shit in the
washer and just let it wash?
won't that fuck up your jeans?

word just toss that shit in there.
it doesn't mess it up because its cleaning the jeans.. as well in raw denim terms it tightens the fibers making it stronger, and takes out more dye because its being agitated.

what about the creases?
and should it be flipped inside-out
and done in cold water?
then hang-dry or dryer?
but wouldn't dryer give unwanted fading?

creases tend to shift a bit after a wash
water temp and turning them inside out are usually based on preference. if you prefer minimal shrinking and color loss wash them cold and inside-out.
most people prefer to hang-dry, but throwing them in the dryer won't cause any fading if you're concerned

i think i wanna make an official how to soak thread or something when my SEXSC06 come in but as for washing, the method I used for my SEXI04's at 6 months goes as follows:
Dr. Bronner's Castile soap, using 1/3 the amount I would normally use with detergent
Sea salt mixture (for salt water fish tanks, optional really...) equal to the amount of soap
And as far as machine settings go:
Hottest setting for temperature (my washing machine doesn't use specific temp it just has settings, so i set it for hot/hot)
Cotton/Machine wash setting (no delicate shit... they're fucken jeans!)
Pre Soak option (fills the machine up with water and the soap/salt, and lets the garment sit for 15 minutes before going on with the cycle, pretty cool feature)
45 minute cycle (so along with the presoak it would stay an hour in the machine)
oo and an extra spin dry cycle in the washing machine to remove as much water as possible so the hang drying time would be reduced
honestly tho, like many have said its all about preference, so just figure out how you like to do it and go with that
but remember this above anything:
They're just pants... no need to glorify them razz

preference beez really, i know they'll stretch back out but i wanted my pair to shrink as much as possible
also... the general rule of thumb is:
the hotter the wash, the more indigo will come off and the more the jean will shrink, and vice versa... colder, less indigo loss and least shrinkage (but of course some will occur)
wanted to see how contrasty i can get my fades, but these jeans still have tons of indigo on em so theyll def be in my rotation for a while to come, a nice pair to go do w/e, prolly make em my drinking jawnz when my SEXSC06 come in lol

I got a pair of 511's. Hopefully they become as sexy as yours. smile. But I gotta wear the same pair of jeans everyday, which is bleh for me.

Did these jeans have the pre-crease thing on the back of the knee?

i wouldnt use it, esp. if it has bleach. washing it with nothing will still clean your jeans, but if it bothers you try using dr bronners dark wash or something like that
