why did you wash and soak soo many times. Its only been 4 months

Why not? Does he have to wait? Is there an unwritten law about denim? Does he have to follow what is perceived by the majority? Maybe he got them dirty? Maybe he has B.O? Maybe he wants a vintage-esq fade? Maybe he doesn't want jeans like everyone else?

From a member of your age and caliber I do not expect silly questions like this.

^unless you're active, a month and a half isn't going to do a hell of a lot of fading for NSs. you just gotta wear em out for months to come if you want more fading.

my APC NS at 5 months. They have stretched way too much as you can see in the side picture. So I had to shrink them back down...I did an 8 minute hot wash (the longest my oldass washing machine goes) and an hour 30 hot soak, changing the water halfway through. Sorry for all the pictures...I wanted to show the process throughout.

Fit before wash:

Before pics:

Threw them in for a hot wash with the gentle cycle for 8 minutes

Soaked them in the tub in hot water for 90 minutes...changing the water at 45 to keep it hot. These little white things came out the jeans, not too sure what they are. You can see it in the picture, theyre just floating on tp of the water.

Dried them outside

When it got dark, brought them insdie to dry

After Pics:

fit after wash:

I'm a little disapointed in them, but i'll wear them for another couple months and see how things turn out.

^ They look good for one wash. Don't be in such a hurry to get huge contrasts. Jeans are meant to last a long time, just keep wearing them and they'll produce results. When you wash jeans, you get back a tighter fit. enjoy the journey, don't think about it too much.

^^^ Just out of curiosity, are those sized down originally, or true to size?

Lol thanks for the words or wisdom. Yeah, i realized it was only 1 wash and only for 8 minutes lol, so i was expecting a little too much.

sized down 2

Cheers. I've been suspicious of this whole sizing down thing, but if those are sized down 2, that puts my mind at rest. That's a great fit.

I definitely suggest to size down on NS, they stretch like hell. When I first got them the first button was just right, and i couldn't sag them at all. Now before the wash they were falling off my ass, and the belt was mandatory lol.

nice job!

yes, a good belt is necessary to keep the waistline from stretching hardcore
