1 wash after 20 months and 2 soaks one at 12 and one at 16 months

how is it elitism? you dont get the bang for your buck when it comes to the two pairs of denim. you pay almost 300 for imperials, and around 150 or 200 for n&f.

momotaros are 150-200
warehouses can be found for under 250
evisus can be found for under 250
sugarcane could be found for under 250

the quality on imperials is just trash compared to the companies i just listed.

why dont you stfu now?

In the end all denim is gonna wear and tear. To even call Imperial a shitty brand is pretty ignorant. All these brands market their denim differently and care about different details. www.blueowl.us/ peep the momotaros. the japan blues, and the n&f collabs are way cheap. and sugarcanes on rakuten are cheap as fuck. they range from like 180 to sub-250.. and like their top denim is 300. evisus are also the best bang for the buck, have you not seen cheep's?

imperials are just trash for the money, i've felt them in real life. you really want cotton from the US that was woven in a few minutes? i'd rather have someone take the time and focus on every detail and not fuck up my jeans for the price im paying for. and you really want made in australia jeans for a pair of japanese style denim?

F/22 and everyone else talking to you is right andy.
NF is damn good denim considering when they have sales(scored nep skinnies for 85+ tax)and offer different types of denim at a low cost. Imperials must be (atleast)somewhat worth the money considering that theyre being sold by SE(not to sound like a dick rider), try peeping their colabos they did with SE, you'll see the "quality" you say theyre supposedly lacking. And how denim fades is really up to the wearer, So maybe you've seen some shitty Imperials in your time or what ever but,I've seen both good and bad Imperials and NF. your argument is invalid

but what i really want to just say is, if you talk about your 200+ dollar jeans like they arent worth shit, why did you even get them when you feel you could have done better?

I wouldn't quite say that N&F have crappy denim. I've seen well faded pairs and their collabs are great. From their flagship denim to their heritage denim to their collaborations, N&F has shown that it isn't just some new kid on the block.
Likewise with Imperial, while I'm not a fan of their flagship denim, that's just my personal opinion. They fade well and their collaborations with Self Edge produces great denim (especially the SExI14).
