i've had my nudies for a lil over a year and the other pair for about 6 months, and no signs of crotch rips (knock on wood)

i think only slim jims tend to rip, that or you arnt like the foos who take "wear your jeans with everything that you do" to heart and do gymnastics and construction in them

my first Raw Denims
sup guys

i just got my first raw pairs today. i wanna know what you guys think. they're gap morrisons slim straight. i had troubled deciding on the size. im usually a 34x32 guy but when i tried on the two types of morrisons theyhad in that size they just didnt feel quite right. but they had one pair left from and earlier season of morrisons it looked like. when i tried them on they felt alot better im not sure thats because it looked like they were broken in a lot more compared to the other jeans. only thing was that these jeans were 36x32 so they are alittle big on me but i found that as long as i had my belt on they worked fine. heres some pics mind you i just got them today. i plan on investing/saving up for some nudies or some A.P.C's after i really break these in which will be a quite a few months hopefully. im planning on soaking them a month from now i guess thats the usually timeline for doing that kinda stuff?? i cant complain much about them because i got a good price on them i think.

the selvege gaps are good how cheap you can get them, but its really not worth the time to try to get these to fade. save up your money and get some APCs or something comparable. As for nudies, theyre too overpriced and prone to blowouts.

still not sure about which jeans I'll cop (still looking for a new pair)
I saw some dior homme denim and I'm pretty disappointed (the made in Italy ones)
I saw some wings and horns denim, they are stiff as fuck.
acne denim.. I ono.. I just don't like them. I want something rigid and they're kinda soft.
the nudies.. they are 175 or 185$, here (in Canada).

although nudies have a decent fit, i dont think the denim is worth the money.
I honestly wouldnt spend that much on those jeans.

If you want cheep yet decent jeans, id say APC is the way to go, but if u want high quality, then you'd have to spend a little more money for what you want.

Uniqlo after a few weeks.

At the moment im 3 weeks in even stevens but there a size to big so i dont think there will be much fading. sad

prime, I really think that those Uniqlo's will look nice in a couple of months.

N00 I know this..
but actually, I just cant afford a pair of 400-500$ jeans.
I saw alot of pictures on websites and forums.
I just went on sufu and looked at the nudies and apc's from the "xxx-gallery.heavy.jp" thread.
there's something that I dont like from the fade of the apc's and some of those look nasty/dirty (beige/khaki).

for the the nudies.. I like them and I like how they fade

but for some reason, it seams like the nudies are tearing/ripping off easily..

na people underate nudies. imo the only jeans that would ever blow on the crotch are slim jims or anything skinnier. Skinny jeans will always have a lot of tension on the crotch. get something else from nudies, they wont blow

o and a lot of people imo take the "wear your jeans everywhere you go" to heart. i mean if u plan on skateboarding in them, and u fall and stuff, dont matter what quality, denim will tear

yes, I wear my jeans everyday. but If I'm working outside or construction the wallas of a house, i wont wear them..

I'm looking for something similar to the 501, but maybe a little more "slimmer". I cant wear skiiny jeans.

oh.. I need to get some jeans tailored (weird black overdied levis 501)

haha yeah. but i would still just save up for some japanese denim, instead of buying nudies, the denim quality isnt that great, neither is the fit, or the dye job. and i agree on you with the way apc's fade. i see pics on em at sufu, and i dont like they color they fade to. (sort of like a gold color.)

Nudie SJ's after 3 months of near-continuous wear:

Front

Back

Pocket

Honeycombs

Leg Openings

After 3 months I decided to introduce a case to the back of jeans as I believed the back pockets were looking a bit too plain - hence lack of fading so far.

Enjoy.

your not gonna be spending 300-400 dollars.

you can easily get skulls for about 210
or even sams for a decent price of 255

im not quite sure about the whole canada thing buut im sure you can find a good pair of jeans for less than 300-400 dollars
