I don't wear tight jeans:

11 days, no wash. As for the knuckles... well, I thought I was the only awesome genius to come up with the idea... oh well. Planning to keep it there for a month then removing it. Hopefully a wash a few months later will bring out a subtle fade.

The knuckle should make for a good story in the end since it is a highly illegal concealed weapon that I'm carrying everyday in a major metropolitan city. Ooooooh risky!

The knucks are a little too affected for my liking.

PRPS, right? Loose jeans can have some pretty nice honeycombs.

Yea PRPS. The knuckles are overly pronounced in that photo because of the angle of the flash. I'll probably keep it in there till this weekend and maybe finally remove it, then a new photo.

I'm hoping a wash at the 6-8 month mark will complete a subtle knuckle fade for me. I'm not looking for a super white outlined fade, that would just be shitty.

these bitches are brand new...just worn maybe twice for a couple hours.

they're gonna look like this for probably the whole summer. i'm not about to foul up some brand new pants, by sweating my ass off in the 100 degree summer and not wash my jeans. lol.

APC New Standards. Ive been wearing them everyday for about 2 months i think?? I got em in a 25 (yeah i know fucking skinny) There still small on me. I should of gotten a 26 or even 27. There stretched out to about 26-27 now but the waist is still a bit tight for my liking.

do you not wanna wear them cuz it is too hot to wear them, or you don't want to mess them up

It's good to know I'm not the only one.. to everyone with stinky jeans: think of what your mother would say if she knew.

dude...i simply don't wear pants when it's 90 or above.

i don't particularly enjoy sweating my ass off.

i could give a shit about "messing my jeans up". i'd much prefer to wear them to break 'em in and get the fading going on.

i dress for comfort, and that alone. wearing stiff, thick ass denim in the heat just isn't comfortable for me. it might be for you fashion queens...but not me.

shorts and tee shirts all summer long.

by the time the second person commented on me not wearing them, it was evident people didn't understand.

i'm no fashion fag. i don't baby my jeans...it's just goddamn hot outside.

i'm glad at least you can see that. and i appreciate it.

Cotton reacts differently in hot or cold water... just like tee's. Agitation means to stir and keep them in a moving.

can you elaborate on what a cold soak does to your jeans.

a hot soak kinda shrinks the jeans right?
