what do initial soaks do?
also, do the fades and combs and stuff show after the wash/soak? or before?
AND ALSO, I have $30 dollar 511's that I bought from JCPenny's, i think, and they have some white stuff where my stacks are at. Near the feet area. It's been about 5months of wear

^^ it's only for shrink to fit denim, unsanforized; or unstarched. in other words, if your denim is "shiny" or has that "raw sheen," its starched. you do not need to soak these jeans before you wear them because they are not shrink to fit. intial soaks are for shrinking stf denim to your desired size.

...So I can't find a bucket anywhere aroudn here, but I do have this trash can... Would that work for a soak? Also when I'm doing this soak should I change the water half way in or something?

use a tub?
trashcan if its clean.
you could change your water half way if it were up to me id care less and leave it there.

well if you want the better of the levis rather than the cheap levis STF's you could get the LVC 1947 seems to be the most popular fit and the fits ive seen justify it.

or you can go to macys jc pennys sometimes sears and pick up the levis 501stf that are like $40-50

CHOCOLATE STAINz!
I got a stain from some chocolate on the right thigh of my APC nc that ive had for a couple months now!!!! tried water, took off some dye so quit doing that real quick.

anybody have any helpful tips or know how i can get chocolate off??? if so please help!

I'm not talking about dance lessons. I'm talking about putting a brick through the other guy's windshield.

soak your entire denim
or
just keep leaving it there if it isnt that noticeable then keep wearing them eventually youll notice it a little less. If youve been wearing them for a few months now you could wash them if you honestly want to. I would suggest be patient hit 6months an then wash.

^ thanks man. I figured washing would really be the only way. So i kinda got most of it off with a towel, even though some dye came out with it too.

But yeah Im not gonna wash them cause I plan on going atleast a year of wear before their first wash. So i still got some time.

Hot wash cycle -> Hang Dry. No detergent, inside out or outside in your preference.

anybody got skinny jeans that are tight or tigher than nudie thin finns that are raw denim? i want to get skinny jeans that are raw denim but i am scared of crotch tear right away or i wont even be able to squat since theres no stretch material

It takes a while to wear away the crotch, it just doesn't happen suddenly. If you're looking for jeans to buy of off people, what size and what brands and fits are you looking for? Like APC NC or PS?

maybe he meant organic dye, organic/all natural dyes are known for being stubborn as far as aging or fading goes.

at the very most it will be a slim fit.

it's like giong with the logic of getting nudie thin finns sized up 4 to accomodate for a slimmer-straighter fit. the proportions will be off..the jeans are meant to be very slim
