just bought my 1st pair of nudie ever (grim tim dry black selvage), do i just wear them straight or should i soak them first? i dun want it to shrink, and these are black not indigo , will i be able to get fades and honeycombs?

Just wear them straight off. Yes they will fade, black denim takes longer though.

I got a pair of Nudie Black Slim Jims i've been wearing them for 2-3 months heavily and no big signs of fades or honeycombs. Does washing having any effect on the process of the fading and honeycombs? if so how should i soak them?

also, are the NS and NC models made out of the same denim, just cut differently? i see amazing evolutions of new standards on a regular basis, but rarely of the new cures...

ok. yesterday, I went downtown and I found some EDWINS for 70 bucks. I tried them on and I liked the fit. I'm looking for some picture of the model that I was wearing and the model.
they remind me those nbhd denim without the holes:
(sorry for the comparison)

they are black with a lot fading, almost everywhere

^^are you posting a question, or are you just looking for a photo...if you've seen them in person i don't see why you need to find a photo. just think it over for a few days, and if you liked the way they look then buy it.

got levis red jeans...theyve got that heavy indigo dye in them...how do i shrink them without losing too much dye (without wearing them in the shower)--should i wash hot/cold and does it help to dry them?

i know this has been asked before but help me out please

yea i figured that...i dont want to go nuts with some of the crazy shit people come up with...like if i just throw them in the washing machine whats the best way to not lose a lot of dye and shrink them...or does shrinking and losing die go hand in hand? theyre a lighter indigo to begin with...not nearly as dark as the traditional 501s

I know you don't like cheap mondays cheep, due to their low quality... but do you know if the "tight" ones stretch at all? I have some in my waist size and they are incredibly tight. Thanks.

i think they are stretch denim, so they wont stretch as much... or they will but they wont stay as stretched out when you take them off.

if they are not, then i dont really know. all denim stretches to a point... im not sure how much they do tho.

Just on the Cheap Mondays, the Skinny Fits dont stretch over a point, or it is really hard to make the stretch over that point.

And a question, does anyone know if the Cheap Monday Regular Raw denim is sanforised or not, copped on impulse even though I should have gone with some April 77's...dam

its sanforized... minimal shrinkage

heres a quick list of non sanforized jeans
levis raw LVC
levis shrink to fit 501
samurai
studio d'artisan
sugarcane raw
eternal raw
warehouse raw
most other raw japanese repro denim

if your jeans are not one of these than its 99% certain that they are sanforized.
