cheep homie i bought a pair of black cheap mondays but am afraid to wear em cause i dont want them bleeding on my beloved jordan collection. ive never done a 'soak' before, but do i need to do one? and what does it entail?

homeboy that owns the denim store whos also into streetwear just to put them in a 'rinse' cycle in my washer and it'll do the same thing so they dont bleed on my shoes. lemme know! thanks.

p.s. and i dont want them to stretch!!

i have the exact same question

Sorry to bug you again. Just a quick question...

How do I get the stiffness back in the Denim. They are now quite limp. I read about the 'Take a Shower' in the Denim Care Thread to do that but it doesnt seem to last. I was assume using a starch solution, but how and what do you use in this process.

Cheers

I'm new to the denim game, I mean I own some evisu's but that's it. I keep seeing people with nudies and they say thing like they didnt wash them for one year.

Do all nudie jeans start to fade in certain areas? Is this just something nudies do? And is that effect only seen when you don't wash them for 6-7 months? If I was my nudies the first day i get them will they keep the dark indigo?

unless your jeans are sanforized, expect shrinking. other than that, expect only minimum indigo loss.

you could wash it at any temperature you want. cold water is usually prefered though.

it will shrink, but it will eventually stratch back out and conform to your size.

if you have good denim, you will never get an ugly color. if you want to maintain your rich indigo blue, wash inside out. your jeans will eventually lose color though. theyre made too. just buy a new pair.

erm.. i dont mind it losing a bit of colour since i do want fades. but no need for 60*C wash then i guess if thats what u meant

unless the denim is sanforized, all raw denim will shrink.

I am a total scrub when it comes to jeans. You can flame/ make fun of me all you want. Is it possible to et honeycombs if you odn't wear your jeans tight? I just wear Levis but relaxed and I am wondering if that will lead to honeycombs or if thats just with tight jeans?

How you kno whether ur jeans are sanforized or not?? I recently got a pair of Artful dodger jeans, and @ first they were very stiff, guessin cause they raw. But within' a course of a week, I had small visible holes on the knee break, is this because i should've wash my demin before wearin it to get it loosen.
