considering the overall look (not dealing with quality) what are the differences between shearers and grim tims.

heh.

um yer they both seem to have big thighs compared to the knee down, the grim tims sometimes look retarded with my medium jackets and jumpers, but look fine with my medium tshirts, wondering if shearers are much of a different cut?

shearers would be barely different, get dukes, the jackets you wear are to large and then you wear slim jeans so it doestn work out, dukes should look good

they're comparable with the dukes, but it would be slightly more tapered, and that's what you want so you would probably be good with those

soaking jeans bunched up inside out in a tub sitting in your sink doesn't make a difference from soaking jeans in a bathtub right?

not really because the whole pair of jeans is exposed to water, so you should be fine.

Is this the correct ones? I saw some ink on the leather so I'm assuming it is, just want to make sure...

Also I wear around a 30x32, what size should I get?

SORRY AGAIN.

Never mind they aren't, where can I buy some STF?

501 STF will say Shrink-To-Fit on the tag.

size up 1" on waist and maybe 2" on inseam to accomodate for obvious shrinking.

hot soak the jeans for 1 hr+ to get them to fit. yes, indigo will be lost. just get over it

you can find STF in rigid black and rigid indigo (not authentic Raw denim) at KOHLS, Mervyns, and JCPennys.

I just got a pair of good heavy jap denim. I soaked the heck out of them and washed them. The dye is still rubbing of heavy. Any thing I can do? Or should I soak them over night or something?

How do Skull 5010xx 6x6's compare to Samurai 710's?

Anybody have experience with both?

What other pairs fit most similar to APC New Standards?

Hey guys, yesterday it rained pretty hard in NYC and so I was wondering about the effects of a rain soak. After letting my dukes dry they are pretty stiff and when I put them on, they stack and fit slightly different than before the rain soak. Will the creases, stacks, combs get messed up or will everything get back to normal in a few days?

Just wear them for a bit and they'll eventually stack normally.

that questions is purely subjective.

how do you think stacking and the fit will look on you?...

i thinkk 36" inseam is good and after soak, it'd be like 34"..so that's about average. LVC 501 1947 is the most popular model on the forums

Ok this might sound like a weird questio but w.e. So basically, moms is threatening to wash my APC's cause apparently there's a funk even though I can't smell it. Any suggestions how to do keep it fresh and smelling clean while not washing it?

well, you prolly can't smell your own stench cause you may have gotten used to it, but just spray fabreeze or some odor eater and tell her you washed them.
