you do not need to change the water when u are soaking ur denim. just let them soak for however long you want. people usually soak them in the showering tub and put shampoo bottles and stuff so the denim does not float up.

i just got a pair of slim jims nudie and i downsized and they are fcken tight, does anyone know how much theyll stretch by (like in inches around the waist etc) and how long itll take them to do it

I picked up some starch, tried it and when i sprayed it on my combs, and felt it and it felt more like it was becoming soft then rigid. The type of starch I'm using is Magic Premium Starch, any ideas or thoughts? Thanks.

i recently got a pair of Guess? jeans and i think they are selvage jeans. its my first pair of expensive jeans(170) and i dont know what i should do. should i wash it once before i start wearing them and try to break them in or something?

How much is the cost for tailoring? (on an average)
My new jeans are kind of baggy, and i havent washed them yet, wondering if i should get them tailored (either cut it a little shorter or make them narrower)

i finally have the money to spend on some higher end denim, but i'm not sure what to get. i want a fit similar to diors but i'm not sure if i want to spend that type of money either. i'm 5'8-5'9, about 150 lbs. any help would be appreciated. thanks.

the obvious choice would be some apc. depending on how tight you want them either the new standards or the new cure. the new cure being the skinnier. thats probably the closest your getting to diors with out dropping 4 bills.

Odd question: how many soaks/washes until dry denim starts to lose it's stiffness? Basically, when does it start to turn loose and crappy like pre-washed?

orisue shrinking?
i got a pair of orisue open sky jeans...theyre a bit long and i think im gonna try to shrink them down...so i was wondering if any1 knows if they are sanforized? or does any1 have a pair and know how much they shrink?
