Oh wow nice. So just curious how much do you ussually spend on jeans if you don't even go through the whole raw denim process?
I'm really tempted to buy the sexi04s cause every pic I've seen of that shit is beatiful and the money is ok even though I never originally thought I'd pay that much for jeans, but I'm just scared I'll fuck them up somehow cause you guys make this shit seem complicated as fuck.

yeah, thats how people do make it seem. the trick is to find a pair that you like, and just wear them and forget about the whole fading thing. wash them when they smell bad or look dirty. wear them alot. get some hand sewing needles and thread and teach yourself how to repair minor things before your jeans fall apart... but in the end they are just another pair of jeans, heavy tough cotton fabric made for miners and construction workers and cowboys... nothing you do can really fuck them up too bad if they are good quality.

Compared to the New Cures, what Nudies are similar to that fit? I'm thinking it's between the Grim Tims and Thinn Finns, although I'm not sure since I have limited knowledge on the two.

Samurai doesnt make super slim jeans, the closest you can get is the 710BK. Those are beautiful. I own both Imperials and Sammurais and I have to say Samurais win BY FAR.

i agree.

Ok I need help. I'm looking to get my first pair of Levi's, and the one I'm eyeing is the 501 STF's. Now, it says in the product description next to it on the online Levi's store that I have to increase my waist size by an inch, then my length by 3 inches. My original size is 32/32, so I would have to buy a 33/35, then wash it when I get it so it can shrink?

Can anyone hook me up with some links to sites that sell pre-washed LVC's? 47's or other styles please. Thanks in advance

lol thanks dj...is there any other sites with wider size ranges. i wear a 34w and alot of the styles i like arent offering my size.

edit: i'm mainly looking for the 47 501 ''saddleman'' style and i've heard they run small in the waist so i'd probably try and get a 36. anyone with other sites holler. thanks again

k i feel complete noob status for asking this,
but im confusing myself,
levi501stf,
i measure my waist at 31,
but jeans seem to fit true at 29,
so im thinking to grab a 28 in the stf's and never soak or wash in the begining and wear them as is,
im sizing down to prepair for stretching and a slimmer fit,
but then i was thinking, after however many months of wear and i wash them,
would they shrink past the 28?
to like a 26 waist? thus becoming a useless pair of pants?
so this rant is basicly the same question everyone in the world asks, what size should i go with?
haha

if they fit true at 29...get the stfs at 29...soak 1st...then while they are drying put them on so they dont shrink past your true waist size...

the size also depends on how you like your denims to fit...stfs are straight leg.

Ok, so very shortly I will be copping New Standards... I'm in between a 33/34 waist (most 34's tend to stretch on me and be big) I was wondering if I should go down to a 32 or drop all the way down to a 31. I sag my jeans pretty hard so I'm concerned as to if the 31 will be to tight and not allow me sag. Any inputs appreciated. thanks fellas

Where can I buy wax coated denim online? Can't find any websites with them IN STOCK.

Looking for Surface to Air black wax coated jeans, and maybe Nudies black wax coated. Preferably the S2A's even though they're probably impossible to find now.

Thanks for any help!
