My N&F Skinny Guy Deep Indigo's are over a month and a half in and are still uncomfortable as hell, despite being the exact same dimensions as my 511's. Behind the knee I get chafing and my skin under the whisker area gets super uncomfortable. Will they ever get comfy? You've had them for over a month and a half, but how often have you been wearing them?
I meant to say a month and half of wear. I've had them for around two monthsMy N&F Skinny Guy Deep Indigo's are over a month and a half in and are still uncomfortable as hell, despite being the exact same dimensions as my 511's. If it's still uncomfortable then you probably sized wrong. You should measure your true waist size from now on and not go with what you wear in other brands. As for those jeans, try riding a bike or playing basketball in them. The more activity you do while you wear your jeans the more they should stretch out.I meant to say a month and half of wear. I did though. bought a tag size 30 (actual waist 31) for my actual waist of 31 inches. Should I try a 31 next time? (actual size 32)If it's still uncomfortable then you probably sized wrong. I guess... If 30 doesn't work for you then the logical thing would be to get a 31 next time.I did though. bought a tag size 30 (actual waist 31) for my actual waist of 31 inches. Anybody have any experience with Gap selvage denim? I wanna try em out and I need to know on how to size on themThey don't stretch out much, so I would say go true to size. Go to your nearest GAP retailer and try em on yourself.
Anybody have any experience with Gap selvage denim? I wanna try em out and I need to know on how to size on themIdk about the other guy, but I have a pair of skinny and they stretched alot, much more so than my unbranded 201's of the same size. I got a size 34, and they are probably a 35 in the waist now.
Does it cost more to hem selvedge denim rather than other jeans/pants? and when I get my jeans hemmed do I say that I want the original hem to remain at the bottom?blue owl charges 25 so I guess most places charge the same, you just have to make sure they have a machine that does a chain stitch hem, or the selvedge line will be messed up.

Do you have to get selvedge denim chain stitched, will it ruin the selvedge if you don't and just ask the tailor to hem them without additional information? No, you don't need to hem with chain stiching.
